Gabby watched carefully as Ryan drank the potion and she let her breath flow out of her, she hadn't even realised she had been holding it. She brushed away the hair on his brow tenderly as she sat up a little. "Feel any better baby?" she asked softly.

Gabby nearly sobbed as she cradled his head tenderly in her lap. "I thought you were gone, I thought I had lost you" she whispered as more tears slid down her cheeks. She knew that her words had two meanings, and she wondered whether Ryan would realise that in his present state.

Gabby's heart broke a little more with those words, because with them came the admission that he had been doing something to feel sorry for. She met his gaze, knowing that her eyes were full of the terror, grief and heartache that Ryan had caused. "I can't say it's ok Ryan" she said quietly. "I don't even know where to start" she said helplessy as hundreds of questions flooded her mind. Why now? What made her so special? Why did it hurt so much?

Gabby shook her head. "You can't know, you can't possibly know how much it hurts" she whispered before stopping. She just sighed and looked away.

At the sight of Ryan's tears, her own started to flow again. She gently lifted his head back onto his pillow and scooted down so she was lying next to him again. She held his hand and kissed away his tears tenderly before she kissed him softly on the mouth. He had caused her an infinite amount of pain yes, Gabby would always want to soothe him, take away his pain.

Ryan tried to stop crying as he held Gabby's hand but he couldnt, the tears kept running down his face.

"Shh, baby it's ok" she whispered, squeezing his hand gently to reassure him. She reached up and she gently wiped away his tears. She kissed him on the forehead, closing her eyes as she did so to stem her own flow of tears. When she opened her eyes she looked down at Ryan and tried a smile. Not succeeding very well, she just kissed him again, this time letting her lips linger.

Vannah was back, fully clothed, and dry. She stopped abruptly at the door and watched Gabby lie down next to him. She noticed he was awake and it took every part of energy to keep her from running over to his bed. Vannah held onto the door post to keep herself from collapsing. What she saw in front of her, a moment so intimate, should've been hers. A bitter tear streaked down her face. She couldn't move.

Larten came behind her and stoped to . He looked at her to them and sighed . He was there if she fainted . "S-Savannah" he said looking at the back of her head . He dident know what to say to comfront her . He wanted to hug her but he dident . He looked down and waited to see what would happen .

Gabby broke the kiss off as she heard the door open. She twisted round and saw Vannah standing there. Her hand found Ryan's and she gripped it gently for strength and a feeling of safety. "Baby" she murmured, not quite sure of what to say.
