Am I right to understand that hardly anyone got the PM from myself about the Masquerade ball?
Masquerade Ball = Friday 7th June
Everyone posts as guests. Everyone will be trying to figure one another out, but I've worked on a masquerade on another site before, and it's trickier than you'd think. Some people are obvious. Some people mean to be obvious. But some people are really difficult. For example; will a character act the same when masked? As in real life, things change when you have that barrier.
Part of your costume will be an image; ignore your celebrity. Choose a costume. It doesn't have to come with a mask. Hence us posting as guests, and using whatever face we want. Choose whoever, whatever for your costume.
Another part of the costume will be your alias. When posting as a guest, you have to input a name. Choose wisely; you need to use the same name for every post your character makes. No changing names partway through.
I, for one, am going to make my characters entirely new signatures. I'll use whatever costume I choose and put my alias on it. Your signature, or image if you prefer, will need to be posted in your first post when you join a thread, so people know who they're talking to. Sort of.
I'll answer all you want to know about what you should be doing to prepare for the masquerade. As for details on what to expect; you'll just have to wait and see.
maximum - 500 height x 300 width
or 200 height x 500 width
I'm giving some leniency seeing that everyone will want to show off their costumes, hence the first sizing being large in height.

I've been asked for more details, so here they are:
