It sounds interesting. I dunno if I'd be able to do it without giving away my uber secret identity BUT the idea is appealing I wouldn't mind giving it a go.

The fun part about uber secret identities is posting as a guest. MUAHAHA. Well, everyone knew who Dare was, but it was funny hearing about who people thought Silver was.

That's kills the whole idea though. Maybe if it's up and running again it could attract people to come back to this site (the ones who have seemingly disappeared before I could grace them with my presence). People who never participated in the Ball and have left might come back to try it. I honestly love the whole post as a guest with a whole new persona. It's like cross-dressing, only your not dressing up like the other gender........ WHICH YOU COULD DO.......... but it's like taking on a whole new persona!

Someone dressed as the other gender. At least one person, though I'm not sure who was under the costume. And yes, I may have gotten PM's announcing that someone had "figured out" who someone else was and asking me to verify. I didn't, of course. I made a few signatures and I kept quiet.

I've gotten word from the Headmistress! I contacted her when I saw that people were interested in another Masquerade. She pointed out that it has been done before, but that there are a lot of things that have done before, so if anyone has any fresh ideas, she'll start working on it. I have a couple ideas stored up from various conversations and I suppose now is as good a time as any to put them out. - wishing well
What if you made a wish for a kind of thread between two characters and they could post it without it affecting the plot? Like an AU situation or pairing you wouldn't see otherwise? (Within reason, of course)
- King and Queen
We'd need nominations beforehand to decide who got onto the ballot.
Of course, other things were suggested as well, like a festival or a beach/boardwalk thing, but there's something about a masquerade, isn't there?

Stilllll, I like the idea of a Masquerade! Although, that would require a new signature =.="

Making signatures was fun. Especially since I might have gotten to make siggies for a couple people, thereby finding out their secret identities in advance... *innocent face*

I know that we have all established how lazy I am BUT STILL!! -wishes there was a program where you could imagine a signature and it comes to life without having to do any work- I think the effort would be worth it though -shrugs-.

I love scouring Google and Flickr for pictures... Is it bad that I feel like I'm behind for not having picked a costume yet?

Has anyone come up with some new and exciting ideas? Or a new and exciting way to do the masquerade?

I have no clue. I was all in on the festival Adara mentioned that one time. All I can think is having some activities, but then it's a fair with costumes. *shrug*
