Cassie grinned at him, he said he would hide it, but he was all over her. "Larten" Cassie said, wriggling from his grasp. "Why, you seem to enjoy chasing me" she teased as she swam out of reach. She was back in dangerous water with him, but she wanted someone she could just talk to and have a laugh with. It seemed that Larten could be that person, her just needed to restrain himself a little.

Larten followed her and swimed beside her " Im sorry about feeling on you...Its just...Well ...Nothing " he swimed faster than her and went father outward . He wanted to be her friend. But he wanted more to be with her and be her boy friend . He smiled and turned around toward her " Hey come one there is a island out here " he said pointing to a small pieace of land .

Cassie sighed and watched Larten go, an odd expression on her face. When he turned to her she smiled and swam towards him. "What are you waiting for?" she called over her shoulder with a laugh as she swam straight past him. She reached the island and got out the water, pulling tendrils of her wet hair out of her face. She sat down at the edge to wait for Larten to join her.

Larten swam onto shore with her and layed down on the soft sand . His body was wet and glistening in the sun . He smiled upward at cassie . He never felt this way about any one . He looked up at the sky " Ahhh this is the life " he said

Cassie laughed. "The life we all dream about, but the one we rarely get" she said, rather cynically. She looked at Larten and almost pitied him. It was obvious how he felt about her, but her love for Julius was too strong. She couldn't help thinking about how things would have been different if she wasn't with Julius. She sighed and closed her eyes, trying to regain the inner peace she had felt earlier.

Larten dident like going into her mind but by the look of her face he had to . She felt for him ...He looked further ...Yea she loved that Professor ...But she felt for him . He got out of her mind and smiled at her " I've never felt this way about anyone..." he said . He couldent stop it . It just blurted out . " I dont know why...It's...Something about you ...Something i that i need in my life ." he said looking at the sky .

Cassie closed her eyes and turned away from Larten for a moment. She focused on shielding her mind, just like her father had taught her. She knew that he had been in there, she could feel it, and she wasn't comfortable with it this time, last time she had asked him to do it. "Larten, please don't do this." she said softly, turning back to him. "You can't cross that line, I'm sorry, I know it's hard, that's just how it is" she said gently, looking at him anxiety in her eyes. If he didn't listen she would have to leave, it wasn't fair on him and she couldn't deal with it.

Larten nodded " Sorry..." he said " Umm...Yes i know how you feel about him...Im going to be here for you if anything happens Ok...You just call me and ill be here . If you need anything im here ok . " he said with a smile . He looked at her and winked and then back at the sky " You can lye down if you want I want touch you unless you want me to " he said with a smile .

Cassie hid a smile and lay down, a little apart from Larten. "Thanks, I get the picture" she said teasingly after he had repeated himself several times. She fell into silence for a moment, not sure how to field his last comment. It wasn't that she didn't want him to touch her, it often couldn't be avoided, but he touched her in a way that at the moment it was onyl right for Julius to.

He to , Was silent . He sighed and looked around at the sky . He looked around the island and saw something in a bush " Hey what is that " he said getting up and walking toward it . It jumped out . It was a baby dragon . " Cassie get out of here ! " he said pulling out his wand " Stupedfy " he yelled and the Dragon swoard threw the air and landed in the water " Nevermind . Should i kill it " he asked looking at her " Or we leave it ....Ha a dragon...It seems to have drowned ..."he smiled and layed back down next to Cassie .

Cassie watched with amusment. She knew she wasn't in any danger, she had been taught by her parents, both very skilled magic users, and she never ran away. "Bit OTT?" she teased, laying out her hair to dry in the sun.

"Are you ever not bored Larten?" Cassie asked him teasingly. She shrugged, I don't know, I should really go down to the shop" she said, she hadn't been for a couple of days and she knew that she needed to take stock of her recent deliveries.
