Larten smiled " Because your beutiful and smart . " he said smiling at her . He stayed layed down on the ground and he dident look at her skirt when it went up . He was surpised with her next question but he anwered it " They are a light green...Kinda like emerald . " he said looking closely in her eyes .

Cassie nodded, she had been expecting something along those lines, but she knew it wasn't Larten who was making her feel that way. "Thanks" Cassie said as she thought. She was playing a dangerous game here, and she thought she would enjoy messing with his head. "Well why am I so beautiful?" she asked, letting his other comment slide, how would he know after all, he had only known her five minutes. "I'm a dancer you know" she added, wondering what effect that news would have on him.

Larten nodded and looked at the ground " A dancer....Cool...Becuase of your long hair and your beutiful eyes ....And your body so slim and trimed ....Your smart to . Your trying to play me arent you. Sneaky....But i have to give congrats for trying . Your smart and beutiful and cunning....You sure your not in slytherin . " he asked with a smile and pulled her down back onto the ground so they where face to face " Come on...Give me a chance..." he said .

Cassie laughed softly. "You know I've been asked that before" Cassie said, looking at him intently. She was well into the game by now and she fully intended to make him believe she would. Being a dancer had made her a very convincing actor. "You know I'm just not convinced about how much you want me" she said casually, letting her leg brush against his as if by accident. She looked at him, her lips curving into an innocent smile as her eyes sparkled with mischief.

Larten let out a soft laugh and looked at her with a smile " I can't be tricked like them other boy's. You want me or you dont ....But i want you...And i can feel you want me ...I know you do...Leave that little chump of a boyfriend you have and come with me ....I can show you more things then he ever did ...But i like you alot...." he said sitting up and pushings some hair out of her face " Can i kiss you..." he asked

Cassie let her lips brush against Larten's briefly, then she pulled away, her lips hovering near his. She brought her hand up to his cheek and smiled at him. "My boyfriend can hardly be described as a chump. What if I don't let you kiss me?" she asked teasingly, wondering if he would take on by brute force. Cassie knew it had gone a little too far, but for her plan to work she knew she had to wait just a moment longer.

Larten smiled and nodded " Your boyfriend is not a student is he . You see during last chrismas break my father taught me Legimncy . I can read people's minds . " he said smiling " But what do i care . My father taught me so many spells that i could turn him into a watch before it ticks . But if you keep playing tricks on me...." he said looking at her . " Now...Do you want to keep it secret...Me and you...." he said smiling .

Cassie considered it for a moment, and came to the conclusion that his time was up. "Aww sweetie, now how can I resist that offer." she said, her voice sugary. The smile slipped from her face and her eyes grew hard and cold. "But you know what, I can because I don't involve myself with jerks like you" she muttered viciously her voice edged with anger. "So if you can read people's minds, you'll know that right about now I think you're sick and I never want you to touch me again. And if you do, then you will seriously regret it." Cassie finished, she was dangerously close to losing it and her hand was reaching for her wand. She pushed away from him and got up, grabbing her book. She started to walk away from him, trying to cool her short temper. She knew that if he came after her then she would not be able to control herself.

Cassie stopped and turned around. She sighed and took a few steps towards. "If you're such a smart ass, then tell me who my boyfriend is." Cassie said, folding her arms as she waited for an answer. She was asking him so she could prove a point. She knew that it wouldn't be hard for him to delve into her mind and she sealed off all her memories and only left his name available for Larten. "And you're right by the way" she added, "You should be sorry, you are a jerk and you are a stupid ass" she finished, a smile threatening to tug the corners of her mouth up.

Larten smiled and nodded and delved deep into her mind . It was there right in front of him . "Julius Saturn ...He is a professor . " he said smiling proving his points " Can we go somewhere else...Maybe to hogsmead or somewhere more private...." he asked walking up to her with his hands in his pockets " I like you alot....And i want to be with you..." he said not smiling but with a pleading look on his face .

Cassie sighed, did he not get it. "Yes I'm going out with a professor. Doesn't that tell you that I'm not going to risk cheating on him with you?" she asked. "I risk so much by dating him. He could get fired, I could get expelled. It's been spread all over the castle" Cassie continued, pacing a little as she was too tense to stand still. "I already lost him once, I'm not willing to do that again for anybody. Our relationship is too fragile" Cassie finsihed, wondering if that was clear enough for Larten to get the message.

Larten sighed and looked at her . " Thats excatly why you shouldent be dating a professor . " he said looking at her " You can get expled and he can get arrested ! Thats worse than getting fired . He can be sent to Askaban ....Cassie....I dont want you to get Expleld ok ....I cant let that happen but someone will tell the headmaster before long . Do you want him to get fired....He will understand...I know people...My uncle is on the Govners of Hogwarts ....I can keep him here ...I dont care if you go see him ...But i just want to be with you...You can go see him all you want to , i dont care . " he said looking at her

Cassie felt the urge to stamp her foot and shout at him. But she didn't even though what he was saying made her blood boil. "You don't understand" she cried. "Larten I love him, it's not just some silly fling ok. It's love. I cheated on him before, when we weren't really together but it nearly killed him when I told him. I can't do that to him again, I won't do that to him again. It would break my heart and I can't do it!" A sob escaped Cassie and she turned, not wanting him to see her tears.

" It's alright....There's something about you that catches me and holds me in ...I probly wont find a girl like you...But...Can we be friends...." he asked " I may like you while we are friends but ill hide it...But i really want to be friends " he said .
