She shook her head, moving back a little bit more, false fear was in her eyes, but deep within depths there was real fear and it was faint but still visible.
"Sorry can’t do that, I’m afraid you might eat me all up.” Her lips pulled back in a fake grimace as she turned back, there was a tree in the way and if she were to turn to the side, she would leave him an opening for vulnerability. Lucretia turned back, thinking of what her next step would be, but those things tended to just work out.
“Come get me Chase, show me how much of a man you are… if you are one at all” she giggled to herself, the tease coming off as false cruelness, but he would know that she was playing around, provoking him, making the game that much better.

Chase's eyes flamed, his pride pricked just enough that her tease hit home. He should have wondered what she was up to, but she'd distracted him far enough that his goal wasn't knowledge, but victory. His confusion at her change in attitude was buried just deep enough that he kept playing, but it was there all the same, along with mild frustration.
But he wasn't going to catch her by crawling around, and at this point, he had to catch her. She either had to come to him, or, since he wasn't desperate enough to use magic, he had to move fast. One heavy lunge that did nothing for his shoulder, nothing for his leg, shot him through the space between them, the momentary pain a small price to pay for the feel of her body trapped beneath his, and the steady thud of adrenaline in his veins. He fully intended to eat her all up. His lips parted against the crook between her shoulder and neck, and he feasted.

The gasp that escaped her lips was muffled by the impact of his body over hers. She didn’t push away but rather arched into his touch. Her eyes glinted as more inspiration came in. With a sudden force she slid down a bit and pushed him over, switching there positions so she was the one on top of him.
“Come on, let me be in charge for once.” She pouted, she was sure his ego wouldn’t allow it, but the fight for dominance was a fun one. She leaned down, her lips at his neck this time. She was sure he would be able to pin her down again because he was much stronger, but that didn’t mean she was giving up.

"I'm the hunter, you're the prey," Chase argued, his weight easily moving Storm to her back. His eyes were twin flames as he caught her wrists, pinning them above her head. "I chased you, I caught you. You're at my mercy now." It had been her game, and he'd played along. Now that he'd won, he didn't intend to give in.
Chase silenced any protests with a hard kiss, deep and possessive. He knew how slim the chances were that Storm would just give up, but neither would he. They'd both be a mess of twigs and dust by the time they were finished, but it would be worth the satisfaction of winning the battle.

Lucretia scowled, he was winning and that was not acceptable. As there lips met, she could feel herself weakening slowly, almost as if he was draining her strength.
"I'll never be at your mercy." she pushed against him, her lips pressed back to his, only it was more bruising as if she was hungrily asking for more.
Lucretia pushed at his body, only managing to move on to her side. A small growl escaped her lips in protest, he maybe be stronger, but she was faster.
With speed, she pushed up against him again, only this time it was not meant to get him off of her but keep him focused on retaining his balance, it was then she rolled over breaking away from him. Getting on her knees she pushed off to wrap her arms around his neck, this time it was light. Her lips found his neck as she slowly sent kisses up and down his neck.
"It's a known rule to never let your opponent get behind you." she breathed, her lips at his temple now, moving down his jaw with exaggerated slowness.

Chase gave a low growl, frustration winning out over humor. His body insisted that humor was overrated, that he act, that he get her to give up and just take her, but enough of his mind was still working that he realized it wasn't going to work that way. Storm wanted control, he wanted control, and he was tense enough right now that he wasn't willing to give it up.
"If you were a guy, I'd be knocking you off my back with a tree," Chase said, his voice low and tense. He waited, trying to cool his body--trying to cool his temper--and breathed as deeply as Storm's arms would allow. "What do you want, Storm?" he asked, already bored of the game.

She scowled slightly, feeling him calm down a bit. She rolled of his back a small grin on her face. His frustration would only fuel things up, make things that much more fun.
"You." she answered simply. As soon as that had left her lips she rolled back underneath him pulling herself up for another kiss. While one arm was propped on the ground raising her body up, keeping him close so that he could feel her every curve. The other hand was raised running through his hair as she pulled him down even closer.

Chase growled again, unhappy, but unwilling to argue, since he was getting what he wanted. For the moment. He pressed his weight against her, devouring her kiss, taking out his tension on her while he could. It was more desperate than satisfying, but at this point, he'd take what he could get.
He'd think about it later; he'd wonder where the soft, hesitantly emotional, fighting-her-way-from-the-darkness Storm had gone. After he ate her all up, as she'd so eloquently put it.

She pulled away from him; her brows were furrowed as she slid out from underneath him. She moved away from him, her chest still heaving, however her mind was clouded with many thoughts.
“Something’s off…” her brows came together, as she kept her legs crossed. Something was different this time, some element was missing and she could sense the odd discomfort from him.

Chase could have shouted his frustration. His body thoroughly objected to its ill treatment, to the length of tease and anticipation it was going through without any sort of end or satisfaction in view. His sense of humor was dead and buried, his mood bordering on downright anger. "What's off?" he asked through gritted teeth. He didn't even care, at this point. She'd been playing with him so long it was hard to see past his physical misery.

Lucretia bit down on her lip. Why was she pulling away, did she not want him anymore? Had she gotten bored from the fear of him leaving her. She pulled farther away, worry in her eyes.
Her back was now pressed up against the tree, she was getting scared now and she wasn't sure why.
"This isn't right, it's not like before. I've changed, or you've changed... something is... different. I don't want to live with this... insecurity anymore. I want to be free from this odd grasp, from these shackles." she could sense it from him too. A moment ago they were just driven by satisfying eachothers bodies. She did care, but she was afraid, maybe of him.
"I... I'm sorry Chase, I just can't do this anymore." she stood up, still leaning against the tree, her eyes were wide as realization dawned on her. She didn't want this anymore, she cared, but she wanted something he could never give her. She wanted him to be hers, just as he was Dru's/
"Don't hate me for this Chase, I don't want you to." she looked down, defeated. She ran her fingers through her hair. Why was it that this place was always where something bad happened to them, as if it cursed them.

Her words filtered through the haze of persistent lust to settle in his mind, drawing out his ability to think when he just wanted to finish what they'd started. I just can't do this anymore. His blood slowed. "What are you talking about? You can't do what?" The words were low, edged with, not menace, but an ominous feeling.
What was wrong with her? Last time they'd met, she'd been all soft, teasing flirtation, everything he wanted. Then she'd led him on a chase through the forest, tormented, led him wherever it was she wanted to go, and he'd followed. He'd followed, and now, out of nowhere, it sounded suspiciously like she was about to break things off!
That ominous feeling grew. She'd told him once that her friends liked to play with guys' minds. They'd led guys into the woods and left them there. Not that he was at all afraid of getting lost in the forest, but the thought was there, and it was inescapable. She looked lost, she looked hurt, but he couldn't think of anything he'd done, any reason for her to feel hurt, and so that led him back to his original thought, one it was difficult to believe despite the evidence.

She was cursing herself; she knew she would have to just get this over with. She took a step towards him capturing his lips with her own. It was kind of final, as if she wanted it to be the sort of last kiss thing. She pulled away taking a step back, her eyes watery.
“I shouldn’t have done this, shouldn’t have led you here. I should have just left you alone like I promise to. I shouldn’t have made that promise to you. I’m sorry; I just can’t be near you anymore. I’m scared; I’m scared of what I can do, of what you can do. I’m confused, and I just want to end this, please understand Chase, it’s not you, it’s me and my stupidity.” she was panting, the tears that brimmed her eyes spilled over.
There was an apologetic look on her face as she stepped away, feeling very guilty now for leading him here, for letting her emotions get in the way and for letting fear dominate what she wanted. Then again, maybe this was what she wanted; she wanted to get rid of the feeling of fear. The feeling that maybe one day he would leave her again in the forest, or the feeling that he would get bored and never want to see her. To him she was just a body and a teaser, but that was it. She didn’t want that, she wanted someone to actually look at her for who she was, take interest in her and not her body.
“Forgive me.” she turned away not wanting him to see her face or the pain that was in her eyes. This would have to end and this chain of fear would have to be broken now, or she would never have the strength to do it.

Anger and confusion were warring for dominance in Chase's mind. "What are you scared of, Storm?" he asked, stepping up behind her. He stopped close enough that he could feel the warmth of her skin calling to him, and his fingers curled into his palms, resisting the urge to touch her, to ruthlessly convince her with a kiss. He wanted to know what this was really about.
"We were fine the last time I saw you," he reminded her. His mind sifted through the conversation they'd had, anything to try and figure this out. "This isn't about your mom, is it?" It was the only thing he could think of, the only reason he could find. He and Storm were good together. Or at least they had been until today. What had happened in the meantime that had changed her so much?

Lucretia didn’t move, she just stayed frozen, looking away from him she was distant reveling in her own mind again.
“I’m afraid of you Chase. What happened is that my mind starts to work oddly just because one thing may seem different, what is it that you expect from me, I’m probably the most unstable person in the school.” She tended to have these mood swings, but it wasn’t because of her hormones, but because she realizes things at the oddest moments in time.
