Cassie woke, her mind foggy and her vision blurred. Rubbing her eyes as she sat up, Cassie was acutely aware that she wasn't in her dorm. Looking around, her breath caught in her throat as she realized that she was in the forbidden forest. Confusion clouded her mind for a moment before last night's events came flooding back. She sobbed at the thought of it and stumbled to her feet. Pulling her cloak tightly around her and smoothing her hair she set off in what she hoped would be the right direction. she wrapped her arms around her, her mind numb and unfeeling, she tripped and stumbled while the branches snagged her hair and scratched her face. Tears slided silently down her face but Cassie was glad she hadn't returned to the castle to sleep.

Kayleigh knew she should be sleeping but walked out around the grounds and to the forbidden forest. She saw a figure there as she arrived and fairly recognised it. As she drew nearer she realised it was Cassie. "Hey Cassie" she said in a voice lower than usual. "What are you doing out here at this late hour then?" she teased.

Cassie stopped dead as she heard someone speak. At first not recognising the voice she turned to melt back into the forest. Then realising it was Kay she stayed where she was. She couldn't trust herself to speak and she knew she loooked a mess after sleeping on the forest floor for several hours and blundering around in the dark. "Kay" she whispered, not being able to say anything else. She hoped that Kay would pick up her need for someone to listen to her and sympathise.

Kayleigh moved towards Cassie, she looked a little dishevelled. "Did some trees attack you?" she asked, "Or was it something else. I'll get it whatever it is." she said hoping to give her support. "or if you want to talk to me about something. Im here to listen and we can talk it out. If not then thats all cool" she told her. She took a seat on the floor and beckoned Cassie to do then same.

Cassie sat down, drawing her knees up and wrapping her arms around her as if she was shiedling herself. "Umm, I sort of" she started, ashamed and embarrassed. "I don't know where to start" she admitted, not looking at Kay, but at the last of the sunlight filtering through the trees.

Kayleigh looked at Cassie. "Look you don't have to tell me if you dont want to, or be ashamed if you" she told her putting her arm around her. "Well start from where you feel it's right." she said looking at her. "You can't have done something terrible..." she reassured her Kayleigh looked around at the trees, there was a tint of sunlight "Well you'd better be quick though, because the sun will be dwn soon and i dont want to be here in the darkness" she said, "i dont mean to be offensive, it's just you never know what could be here. Anyway back to your problems, I'm always here for you" she said smiling and reassurng her.

Cassie laughed bitterly. "Not terrible?" she said sarcastically. "It's probably worse that terrible" she continued, then she lost her confidence again and a single tear slid down her cheek. Not bothering to wipe it away, she looked up, settling her big green eyes on Kay. At present they were incredibly dark green, almost black showing she was ashamed. "The other day........ I sort of......." Cassie sighed and bit her lip. "How about you ask questions and I'll answer. I want, and need, to tell you Kay. I just don't know how." she said softly, asking her for help silently.

"Well im sure its not that bad" she said comforitngly. She stared into her dark green eyes. She was crying. "Okay well how about we start with the basics. Who were you with?" she asked. "You'll eventually tell me cause you want to, but im just going to ease it out of you. Youre obviously too upset to tell me all at once. So, ive already asked the question right?" she asked getting wound up in helping herso much she'd clearly forgotten what she'd talked about.

Cassie took a deep breath, trying to control herself. "I was with Julius" she said softly, looking away and down. Cassie hugged her knees tighter and closed her eyes briefly, she shivered as she remembered his touch.

"Julias?" she asked. "the teacher?" she asked again. Maybe it was a little bad "Well it's not that bad." she said, "Well what were you supposed to do meeting here?" she asked her.

Cassie nodded mutely, afraid that Kay would hate her once she had the truth. "We did meet" she answered softly, swallowing as she tried to rid herself of the lump in her throat. She started to play with her hair nervously, getting rid of the tangles and knots.

Kayleigh grimaced abit. "So you guys met. That's not too bad. What happened after that?" she asked kind of going straight into it. She needed to know to try and help Cassie out.

"We uhh," Cassie blushed deeply, her face glowing, shielding her face with her hair, she tryed to think of the best way to say it. She continued to comb her hair with her fingers and she winced as she hit a tangle and it caught her hair. Cassie remained silent, hoping that she might not actually have to say the words. Kay knew her well and silence meant as much as words sometimes.

"Well you guys hooked up" she said, "even if you went the whole way, people make mistakes" she said, "if anything he's the one with the problem - he should have realised what he was getting into and stopped..... evenly if you guys did like each other" she told her. "I mean im sure it wasnt some casucal thing. You must have liked each other - and no offense but being in an all girls school does things to you" she said reassuring her - it wasnt as bad as it could have been. "I thought you were going to say he had raped you or something" she added quietly.

Cassie shook her head. "He didn't hurt me" Cassie said quietly raising her eyes to Kay. "I went to a mixed college" she said correcting Kay. "I don't know what came over me. I've never done anything like that before." she said, blushing slightly. "It started about a week ago." she said sighing, as Kay knew some of it, she figured she might as well tell her the rest.
