"Well thats good, I mean people make mistakes sometimes danger makes us do things we wouldnt normally. I mean people are more likely to do strange things if there's a chance they'll get caught. Its all about the adrenaline rush." she said, "Well it doenst make me think differently of you if you're worried about that" she said. "A week, well dont worry, you really shouldnt it's not as bad as you think." she added. "Have you guys split up or are you still together?" she asked.

Cassie shrugged. "I don't know" she said, her vocie stronger from the relief of telling someone. "He stalked off without a word but then..." She trailed off and drew a deep breath. "Honestly, I don't want it to be over." she said in a rush.

"Well he probably realised where he went wrong" she said, shrugging. "Well if you like him you should win him back" she said "I know i would, and dont worry you're not doing anything wrong at all" she said smiling. "I mean ive done worse" she said wishing she hadnt "I mean you both like each other its clearly obvious and as long as you're careful there should be no reason why you should be together. But mind you dont tell too many people because otherwise someone else could overhear. At least it's quiet here and we could if anyone was coming" she said.

Cassie nodded. "He's a professor though Kay. I mean I want to be with him, and he certainly wanted me earlier." she said. "Even though he's only a few years older than me, he left because it felt wrong." Cassie said, biting her lip sharply. She closed her eyes and could still remember the touch of his hand and the sound of his voice. She wrapped her arms around herself, everything was so alien to her.

"So if you love someone it doesnt matter at all" she said. "I mean a few years isnt much and he obviusly likes you hes probably just a little cofused and feels bad because youre a student and doenst want to get sacked so he can see you all the time" she said. "if you want i could talk to him - if you tell me where to find him. I wont do it now cause you need someone" she said. "I mean in the name of love we pull out no stops" she said smiling trying to reassure her.

Cassie giggled slightly, returning slowly to her usual self, but she shook her head. "Don't talk to him, I know you mean it with the best intentions, but I don't know how he'll react that I told someone. Besides, he seemed really confused. I'm going to give him some time to think things through." she said, running her hand through her hair. "I mean I don't think I'l' have a problem winning him back." she said, a small smile on her face and some of her sprakle back as her eyes turned a soft grey.

"Okay wellk fair enough guess i didnt think about that aspect" she said. "You wont , but dont get too big headed" she said jokily now that Cassie was coming back to her original self. "Sure give him a bit of time to recover then" she said with a smile. "Wahey the sparkle has come back" she said enthusiastically.

Cassie laughed, "I don't think there's a chance of my getting big headed," she said lightly. "I mean he left the first time didn't he?" she said, raising one eyebrow at Kay, any hint of a smile wiped from her face.

Kayleigh laughed. "Well just because he did doesnt mean he will again" she told her. "Cheer up. Why dont we go off for a drink if you can manage at all" she asked her. "If not then dont worry. You really shouldnt you know" she told her, "im sure he'll come back to you after he's had time to think." she added with a small smile of encouragment.

Cassie smiled gratefully at Kay. "i thik a drink if probably exactly what I need. But i think we can forget about eyeing up the guys for now" Cassie said, referring to their first conversation by the lake. She sighed, just a few short weeks ago she had been an innocent dancer, willing to learn a little more about the world. Now, all she wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep for a year.

"Alright then, no guys, but drinks sound good" she said smiling. "Well we can when you want to, or we could back to the school" she said, "no offense but you look a little tired. But then you would" she said jokily. "sorry but im quite honest - if that offends you" she told her.

Cassie laughed softly. "No, no, and who wouldn't be tired, I uh, met Julius" Cassie said, not wanting to go any deeper than that. "Then I fell asleep on the forest floor for a couple of hours. I think I need to go and clean up, and change my clothes" Cassie said, immediately feeling that she wanted to get rid of everything that was associated with the evening. "Why don't we meet in the club, it'll be noisy and dark. Plus he won't be there" Cassie said, knowing that Kay knew who he was.

"I can imagine you are pretty tired. Yeah sure you go and change and washup. I'm going to do the same and make myself look more presentable" she said with a smile. "Shall we meet outside the club then in about an hour?" she suggested.

Cassie nodded, an hour was plenty of time to get ready. "Sounds good I'll see you there" Cassie said as she stood up, brushing off her cloak. She pulled it round her tightly and put the hood up. "Bye Kay" she said softly, before she made her way like a shadow back up to the castle.

Kayleigh got up, scanned Cassie just to make double sure she was okay "Yeah, seeya in a little bit. Take care now" she added smiling and walked back to the castle and up to the common room to change.
