Cassie entered the depths of the forest, watching the swirling pattern the light filtering though the trees made on the forest floor. She meandered through the forest not really paying attention to where she was going. The breeze rippled through the trees, creating a symphony of noises like the rustle of leaves. Nature had always inspired Cassie and she could never resist. Her feet would not stay still so she gave into the temptation and began to dance. Surrendeirng herself to the forest as it led her in a dance. her hair loose and her eyes closed, she was completely oblivious.

The forest had always held a certain allure for Michael, and it was no different when he walked out that day. He walked through, just enjoying the sight and smell of the trees all around him, and soon came upon a girl he had never met dancing. He stopped and leaned against a tree, watching her and remembering the last time he had seen someone dancing. Way back before Emilian had showed up when he had seen Pandora out by the lake.

Cassie suddenly became aware that someone was watching her and she stopped dead. She looked around until she spotted who it was. "Hi," she said softly, a little breathless from her dancing. "It's just such an inspiration" She said as she took a few steps towards the stranger. He seemed a little older than her and so Cassie was unsure of herself.

Michael crossed his arms in front of him and nodded, "Yeah, I come out here and draw a lot." It was also where he had met Anna and where he had spent quite a bit of time with Dru. It held a lot of good memories for him. "You're very good," he said, smiling softly at her, kind of so that she'd be more comfortable, she seemed a little strained.

Cassie relaxed a little and stepped cloer to him. "Thanks," she said as she blushed softly. She pulled her long blond hair out of the way and her eyes turned a soft gree, signifying she was happy. "I've earned the right to be good." Cassie said, implying that she had worked hard for it. "I'm Cassandra" she said, introducing herself, she wasn't sure why she had used her full name, it had just seemed right for some reason.

"Michael." He didn't pay much attention to her assertion that she had worked hard, he didn't like it when people flaunted how hard they worked or how good they were at something. Like him, he knew he was good at drawing, but he didn't go around pushing it in people's faces or bragging about how much he practiced.

Cassie blushed, feeling as if she had put her foot in it a bit. "That come out wrong" she said, she now flet awkward and flsutered so she paused and turned her attention to the forest, watching the sunlight's swirling patterns.

"So do you come out here often?" Michael asked, watching her. He wasn't going to get into a conversation about how one should or should not flaunt one's attributes. After a few moments he looked away from her, watching the dancing leaves, his mind going back to how Anna had looked that one day by the lake, the leaves surrounding her face. It brought a smile to his face.

Cassie shook her head, not sure if he was actually paying attention. "First time, I only arrived last week." Cassie said. "I've been so caught up catching up in my studies and continuing training I haven't had much time to explore." Cassie explained.

Michael nodded absentmindedly, "It's my favorite place in the school. I have a few nooks and crannies I've found in here since I've got here that I really like going." He had a gift for finding stands of trees to relax in, Anna had pointed it out to him. The soft smile stayed on his face, it was getting to where everything reminded him of her.

Cassie recognised that look and smiled. "Who are you thinking of?" she asked softly, hoping that he wouldn't dislike the intrusion into his thoughts.

"My Annabelle," he said, using the possessive my naturally. The small smile became wider, "We met out here in the forest." A feeling of elation spread through him and he stretched. It was odd, but stretching helped him alleviate some of the tension, the good tension that came from thinking about Anna.

"Lovely name" Cassie said, "I think you can always tell a lot about someone from their name, or a nickname" Cassie mentioned thoughtfully. She sat down and gazed up at the sky, "Everything here is so different, I'm still getting used to it." She admitted.

Michael's eyes sparkled at Cassie's opinion on Anna's name, he loved her name. "Yeah, it takes a little getting used to." He continued watching the leaves moving gently in the light breeze that had come up. "But it's alright once you learn your way around."

"The Castle already feels like home, I guess it's jsut the reversal of my studies. I used to dance all day and cram in magic when I could, know as it's the opposite it feels strange and some people" Cassie said, trailing off as she suddenly wondered that who Michael was friends with.
