Vannah was lying in her hospital day for four days now.....only it seemed like four months. She was feeling much better...well health wise. Her mood wasn't so bright, but what's new? She was just about sick of the nurse and of having to listen to Gabby and Ryan all day and all night. Vannah kept her wand near her tempted to send another curse over to her neighbor's bed.

Ryan walked into the hospital wing and walked to Gabby's bed and saw that she was asleep. He decided not to wake her and turned around, seeing that Vannah was awake "Are you ok?"

"Oh, yes. Just right and dandy." Vannah replied sarcastically. "The sharp stabbing pain in my side and lying here for four days is just a bonus." Her tone was bitter and sharp. Vannah rolled her eyes. "What did you expect?"

Ryan sighed "I was just making sure you could still f.ucking move. I could have easily let you die in there, but that wouldn't be me. No matter what my feelings are to you now, I don't want you to be hurt. I was just trying to show some concern."

"Fine, fine! Don;t get all jumpy...sheesh.." Vannah muttered. She slowly turned so she was facing him away from Gabby's bed. As she turned she grimaced in pain. "You're concern is noted." She said with a nod loosing the sarcasm.

Vannah raised her eyebrow, only it wasn't too visible as she was lying down. "Like what?" She asked. Maybe he was expecting an apology to his dear girlfriend lying in the next bed over, but that was likely to never happen.

Vannah sighed and rolled her eyes. "Thank you." She said. It wasn't something she said often and its lack of meaning was only to be expected. She motioned for him to have a seat next to her bed.

Ryan sat in the chair next to the bed and looked at her "Now I would like to know what happened please. Gabby told me that you invaded her mind, so what made you do that." he said calmly. He wasn't blaming anyone right now, he just wanted to know the whole story.

"She did. I was only defending myself." Vannah said. "I don't want to talk about that right now. This is the only time I get to talk to you with out her butting in. So let's talk about something else." Vannah suggested her voice lightening.

"You. Hogwarts. Anything. I feel trapped stuck in here." Vannah said sighing. If she weren't in so much pain she's get up right then and walk out. It didn't seem fair.

Ryan shrugged "I don't know much about what has been going on here. I am thinking about going back home sometime soon." he said softly still trying to decide if he should go home for a while or not.

Vannah kept her expression blank. It shocked her, but only slightly. "If that's what you want." She said shrugging. Vannah looked up at him. "Is it?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
