"I haven't seen her," Emilian said, staring intently down at his nails. Adara would find out, and it wouldn't be pretty when it happened. He didn't want to know how she'd react, didn't want to see the look on her face or the hurt in her eyes. He felt like he should say something else to Lucretia, but what else was there to say? It struck him faintly that he was talking to her about a problem much like the one she had been in with Chase and Dru, and he wondered for a moment if she caught the connection.

Her hand went to the back of her neck as she unclasped the choker. She walked up to him handing him the choker, her lips pressed in a white line, another question, or rather comment wanting to come out.
"I'm guessing you... enjoyed it." she said still frowning, this Dahlia women must have been very good, but then again, Emilian was lacking in the control department when it came to his hormones.
"I'll take it." she said in reference to the choker. Lucretia pulled out her pouch, it was the same one as her mom, only her's was dark black, her mothers was sapphire blue.

Emilian sighed and took the chocker, "I'm not going to lie and say I didn't like it, she was...." He trailed off when he pulled out the long box for Lucretia's choker and set it on the counter. "She was amazing." The unstated but was left hanging in the air for Lucretia to do with what she wanted. "It's 325," he said, in reference to the choker as he attached it to the clasps inside of the box and shut it.

Lucretia pulled out 400 galleons, she was too lazy to count and 75 galleons wasn’t much to her anyways.
“Let me guess, she just couldn’t keep her hands off you... what have people come to, and for a stupid interview.” Lucretia said, her question rhetorical; she wasn’t sure why she was so concerned with the whole thing. It wasn’t like it affected her, but it was like she made it her mission to keep Emilian in check.
“You will tell Adara, right?” she asked, she felt sorry for the girl, she had just remembered reading about Eloise, she detested that girl, and even though she had said they would start fresh, it didn’t mean she liked the girl anymore than before.
“What about Eloise?” she asked, she was sure jumping from one to the other, but she might as well find out what Emilian felt for the girl, his situation almost reflected hers, only the relationships were much different.

Emilian was getting ready to hand back the extra, but instead shoved it into the drawer when he heard her comment about the interview. He avoided her eyes when she asked about Adara, he knew Adara would find out, that she would probably find out from him, even so, he didn't want to tell her. "Yes, I will," he said, still looking away.
His eyes hardened when Lucretia mentioned Eloise. "Don't even get me started on her, she is the bane of my existence. She's absolutely horrid." He wished he had never met Eloise, Temptation.

Lucretia snorted, she though as much. The girl was an absolute annoyance. She was the type who confused words such as love, with lust. It sounded a lot like Ryan as well, the poor guy probably doesn't know the true meaning of the word.
Lucretia thought on the word, biting down a question. She wasn't sure why she wanted to ask, but curiosity always got the best of her.
"Do you... love her... Adara I mean." she knew he probably could care less about Eloise, it was all just physical attraction for him, the same way it was in the very beginning for them.

"No," Emilian said, completely honest. He didn't love Adara, he may not have understood what it was that he did feel for her, the only thing he knew for certain was that it wasn't love. To love her he would first have to accept that the had feelings for her in the first place. The look in his eyes when he met Lucretia's clearly said that there was something there, even if it wasn't love. Without giving her more than half a second for it to register he cloaked his eyes again.

Lucretia raised a brow. She could have sworn she saw something in his eyes, but was gone just as quickly as it came. Lucretia glared out the window one more time, unable to her mother she sighed, must have gotten sick of waiting so just left.
“And so the hunter has been hunted.” she said darkly. It seemed that the women of the wizarding world were hell bent on getting him, she shook her head realizing her mother might be one of them, only in a different way.
“Stay away from mother, she’s still looking out for potential suitors and you just had to please her.” she said grimacing.

"I'm not even allowed on grounds anymore, so she'll have to come after me if she wants to speak to me. I would say tell her I'm not available, but I don't know if it'll be true after I talk to Adara." Emilian felt momentarily sick at the idea that that statement may be truer than he could have expected.

Lucretia’s mother wasn’t a fan of Hogsmead, only rarely coming and usually to just check up on her... or more like spy. She took the box from him carefully pocketing it in her robes.
“Yes, well best of luck to you.” her brow still raised, Lucretia was still trying to decipher the look. Finally convincing herself she probably just imagined it, she gave him a small smile, one meant to reassure him. She really did hope it will end in his favor.
“I’ll visit again, of course that would mean major plotting, wouldn’t want her back here.” she said in reference to her mother.

Emilian smiled, taking her luck and squirreling it away in the back of his mind. "Yeah, I'll see you," he said, standing up straighter instead of leaning on the counter. "I'll be absolutely horrible to her next time she comes in if you'd like," he offered with a grin.

Lucretia nodded, she would be looking forward to seeing what Dahlia may have written in the Daily Prophet. She turned to leave, noting that he mother was no where in sight.
"You better be, I'm dreading what she's going to say once I get back." she wasn't looking forward to this, what would be worse is that her mother is very persistent, and she was in no mood to put up with her today. Lucretia let the door swing shut behind her, a scowl on her lips, this was not going to be fun.
