Chase needed some time to think. The world had gone crazy around him, and there was no rest, nowhere to just sit back and watch for a while. The forest was more crowded than the Quidditch Pitch, so he'd headed here and climbed to the top of the Gryffindor stadium, then higher, until he was standing along the top of the wall at the back of the stadium, leaning casually against a flagpole.
He figured no one would bother him here. He didn't know any Gryffindors, and what Slytherin would be in the Gryffindor stands? It didn't matter if he was visible from the ground, no one really played Quidditch here anyway. For once, it was quiet, leaving Chase to sort through things. He felt alone here, like he was standing at the edge of the world, the grounds laid out in front of him and any students so tiny to view that they might have been ants.

Elizabeth looked around the stadium. Not really wanting anyone to see her flying she looked at he broom she borrowed from Rhy.She sat on it and she kicked off the ground and she rose up a few inches and then she flew off.SHe went around the stadium twice and right before she slowed down she tried stopping with out pulling so while she was going she turned so she was horizantal and she felt the wind slow. The looked at where she was when she stopped she turned and saw a boy at the top of the tower she was in front of.She got a little embarressed but she decided it wasn't worth it so she turned around and she fixed her hair.SHe wore long sleeves as she always did and she brought her arms down and she sighed.

Chase had seen the girl out of the corner of his eye and turned his head slightly to watch. At one time, he would have jumped on the opportunity to meet a new girl, but now it was just another complication he didn't need. Not unless he could convince Dru to let him have that harem. Still, Chase watched the girl idly, not moving from his post, and certainly not calling out a greeting.

Elizabeth felt his eyes almost burning through her skin so she did another round outside the staduim. But instead of going back to the middle she came up behind the stand he was in and she pulled up beside it."If you are doing staring me down it wouldn't hurt you to give a nice 'Hi' would it?"She asked teasing.she still felt awward about him watching her so she stuck her hand up by her hair and she grabbed a loose piece and began to twirl it nervously.

Chase watched the path of the girl's finger in her hair a moment before dragging his eyes back up to hers. "You were busy," he observed, dark eyes gleaming. "It would have been rude to interrupt." Not that etiquette had a thing to do with why he hadn't given her the greeting she obviously wanted, but he wasn't about to announce his intentions.

Elizabeth looked at him."Well,Just about 5 minutes ago would have been prefect to say something.I wasn'yt busy then."She said watching him.She stopped her twirling and she smiled slightly."Really nice day."She said as a breeze blew past and brused some of the loose hair on her neck and on top of her head backwards.

Chase's eyes followed the teasing wisps of hair, but he gave no other sign that he was even paying attention to the girl. "If you weren't busy, you could've said something. Maybe I figured you'd rather be alone." Chase's eyes found the girl's, hopefully making his meaning clear. He wasn't particularly interested in company. Small talk did not suit him unless it was going somewhere, and this wasn't going anywhere. Not with Storm and Dru both on the line.

"Well coming up here when you are bored is kind of hard to want to be alone isn't it."She said smartly."But fine,If you want to be alone say the word and I will just go back to flying if not then I will talk,"She said letting him choose. She met his eyes bravely.

"If I had wanted company, I'd have stood in the Great Hall," Chase said. It was rude, but he wasn't feeling particularly social. Maybe he wanted to pick a fight, but even in his current mood, he knew that this wasn't the time or place for that.

Elizabeth shruged her shoulders."Fine go stand here and lonely who would care? Not me most likely."She started to turn and she instead just flew behind one of the stands away from that one and she hovered a few minutes ands he decided she didn't want to fly anymore it didn't seem as exciting.SO she floated down to a stop in one of the stadiums and she put her broom down next to her and she put her hands on her face and she sighed.

Chase watched the girl for a while, thinking about how anticlimatic this all was. He'd gotten so used to the drama, the fights, the passion, the secrecy, that he couldn't seem to have a decent conversation anymore. Fortunately, he far preferred living in the moment, and at the moment, all was quiet again. Chase turned back toward the grounds, leaving the girl in peace.

Storm came up behind Chase, her eyes straying over to another figure in the distance, she wrapped her arms around his neck her lips at his ear.
"Hey." she said quietly grinning.

Chase's shoulders tensed for only a moment before relaxing at Storm's voice. His lips curved into a smirk, and he turned his head, looking over his shoulder at her. "You know, it's dangerous up here," he said, the words little more than a tease. He turned to face her, his hands slipping around her waist.

She grinned jumping over the bench to stand in front of him, her arms at her hips.
"And if I fell, would you save me?" she asked taking a step towards the edge, she wouldn't jump, but it would be funny to see his reaction.

Chase grinned more than a bit wickedly as his hands firmed at Storm's waist. He made a sudden move toward the edge, leaning her for one heart-stopping moment perilously far out before pulling her back up, flush against him. "Looks like I would," he said, his voice husky with the rush of adrenaline he'd given them.
