At the exact time Gabby sent the curse, Vannah sent one to her. " Difindo!" She shouted. Her mind pulled away from Gabby's sharply leaving her no time to react to the unpreventable curse. She was not going down alone. |

Gabby scream in agony as she felt her torso being ripped in half. Blood was gushing out of her stomach and staining her robes. Gabby flciked her wand and sent a warning to the castle just as her wand slipped from her grasp and she collapsed on the floor.

Blood began to pour out of Vannah. It begain with the scar Emilian had left her with on her stomach and only got worse from there. Pain seemed to be erupting from everywhere in her body. Eventually, Vannah got really dizzy and blacked out.

Ryan had been walking outside and saw a warning spell sent from hogsmade, from what looked like the shrieking shack. Ryan ran as fast as he could, fearing the worst. Ryan ran into the house and found both Vannah and Gabby on the floor bleeding "OH MY GOD!" he yelled and hurried to help them. He was able to levitate Vannah and carry Gabby and rushed them up to the hospital wing.
