Ryan caught the ball and smiled "I like the determination, Ok get ready." he said as he got ready to throw the ball again.

Vannah nodded and smiled. She stepped back up to the plate and repositioned the bat. "Okay, go." She instructed him lightly.

Ryan once again threw the ball and watched to see if she could hit it.

Vannah felt the sting of cool air on her eyes as she forced them to stay open this time. She saw the ball coming right at her face and wanted to run, but didn't. As the time came, she swung the bat and felt the ball being abruptly changed in direction. Vannah watched it. The ball landed in one of the stands off to the side and she jumped glee.

Ryan smiled as he watched the ball go into the stands and looked back at Vannah "Great job" he said as he went over to her and hugged her.

Vannah smiled and higged tighter. "Mmm...it's so...plain. No wonder something always made me want....to make things more interesting...." She murmured softly with a laugh in her voice, and not letting go as if she were afraid something bad would happen if she did.

Vannah sighed and pulled away. "I don't know. It's getting late." She said looking up at the red sky. "I should probably head back." She admired the sunset for a moment.

Ryan frowned a little "Yea I guess so" he said, not really meaning it. He didnt want her to leave, he was having a great time.

Vannah looked back at him. "Right, so see you later." She said kissing him softly and then letting it linger some. She hadn't realized how tired she was or how the pain from earlier had began to creep back until now.

Vannah smiled at him before running up the stands to grab her stuff and disappearing through the Slytherin Entrance tunnel.
