She pushed away from him again, crossing her arms over, a scowl fixed on her face. Her lower lip was in a pout, a childish look.. cute. She hated it when he did that, always tried to hide things, whatever it was in his mind, and it was killing her.
"Why do you have to be so mysterious like that." she said, although secretly it was one of the things that drew her to him, that she liked about him. Her look didn't change, however her eyes glared away from him, she was glaring at the pitch, not sure why, but if he was going to look away so was she.

Chase looked back at Storm, pulled from his immediate thoughts. "There's nothing mysterious about me; I'm an open book, kitten," he said. And yet he recognized that Dru had accused him of the same thing. He didn't see the problem, though. He wasn't hiding anything that anyone else needed to know. What would anyone get out of his announcing that he was thinking about his ex? Nothing but an argument and hurt feelings.

Lucretia slowly shook her head, her face slightly relaxing, her arms still wrapped protectively around her body.
“You don’t see yourself the way others do.” she played with a strand of her hair with one hand, the other still wrapped around her frame, she didn’t want to let go of herself, as uncertainty began to return.

Chase smirked at that. He moved closer to Storm again, his gaze flicking from the motion of her hand in her hair to the arm she'd wrapped around herself. He slipped his own arm around the back of her waist and brought his hips against hers. "And how do other people see me?" he asked, eyes gleaming. He expected the usual; he was a player, didn't talk much, nothing he couldn't take with a wink and a smile.

She gasped lightly, feeling him against her. Unwrapping her hand from around herself, she brought up her hand resting it on his neck, absentmindedly playing with his hair. She leaned in, her lips at his ear, her lips in a smirk that would rival his own. She parted her lips to speak, her eye bright almost dancing.
"It will take more than that to get an answer." she said, pressing her lips right underneath his earlobe, the smirk still evident in her features.

Chase grinned, the game entirely to his liking. "And how much will it take?" he asked. Chase's stance widened as he made himself comfortable, his hands shifting up Storm's sides, then slowly moving up her back. "Will a kiss do it?" He pressed a light, teasing kiss against Storm's hair, silently reminding himself not to lose his train of thought. If she was going to make him work for an answer, he wanted the answer.

A sigh escaped her lips, but she wasn't going to give in that easily, it would take much more than that and making him work for something was fun, a small little game that she made and he was willing to take part in.
"Thats it a little kiss, aw Chase I'm offended." she said pouting, although her eyes had a look of absolute amusement. Her lips twitched as she tried to keep herself from grinning, she would have to play her part well.

Chase, still grinning, moved his attention down to Storm's ear, where he whispered against her. "Maybe another kiss will change your mind," he suggested. He parted his lips against her neck, the kiss purposefully seductive now; the other had only been a tease. Of course, he still wasn't working at 100%. He knew Storm was playing with him, and for the moment, he didn't mind.

She leaned into his lips, biting down on her lip. She pulled him closer with her hand, his warn breath on her neck made her tingle all over.
"You are..." she trailed off, unable to continue, he was intoxicating her. She opened her lips one more time to speak, but she couldn't.

Chase listened for a moment before realizing that was all she was going to say. His lips curved against her. "Am I?" he teased, his mouth brushing her neck with the words. He thought about letting her go; giving in and not making her talk, but then she'd have won the game. "You didn't answer my question," he murmured, letting his hands slide over her curves, making it even harder for her to speak. Still, he persisted in drawing her thoughts to the surface. "How do other people see me, hm?"

At first she couldn't speak, until her eyes hardened and she was finally able to slightly push away. Her lips were pressed in a tight white line.
"Does it matter?" she asked him, she loosened her grasp on him, her eyes on the ground, one finger lightly tracing up and down the back of his neck.
"Does it matter what anyone thinks about you? What I think, what... Dru thinks, what anyone else thinks?" the question just sprung she should just enjoy this, but she felt odd for a moment, not that she wasn't enjoying his company but rather, wanting to know more of him and not just his kisses.
"Isn't it all about what light you see yourself in, your own perspective, will what I say ever make a difference?" she finally looked up to meet his eyes, her finger still absentmindedly tracing the back of his neck.

Chase watched all of this nonplussed. She seriously looked upset, or at the very least disturbed. "I was just playing around," he said. At least she hadn't pulled away entirely. He let the feel of her fingers along the back of his neck soothe him a bit; having the game end so abruptly had been an unpleasant shock, and his body wasn't any happier about it than his mind. "It was a game, Storm."
No, it didn't really matter what people thought about him, for the most part. But he'd asked, she'd turned it into a game, and he'd willingly played along. Chase's mind didn't make any further connections; that would have required a full blood supply to his brain that simply wasn't available at the moment. Chase looked down at Storm, a little confused, a little annoyed, and tried to figure out what had just happened.

She sighed, mustering the best smile she could, it worked, his expression made her feel guilty, she didn't want to spring something like that on him.
"I'm sorry, but sometimes, I feel like I'm just doing everything wrong." she paused, arching a brow, as her lips turned into a full blown grin.
"There I go again, over analyzing, I seriously need to loosen up." she was saying it more to herself. Lucretia leaned in and kissed him tenderly on the lips, before quickly pulling back.
"Hmm, maybe I should save up for another time. You know Chase, you still owe me, for kicking your butt at our little swimming race at the lake." the day hadn't ended up well, but she still held on to that promise, not forgetting that he still owed her something. She had a teasing grin on her lips, leaning up again her lips near his, but not quite there.

Chase allowed himself to be distracted. It wasn't worth pursuing something Storm didn't want to talk about, especially since it seemed to upset her. His lips curved, and his eyes gleamed again at her reminder. "I'm sure I paid up," he said, though he was sure of no such thing. He remembered the bikini she'd been wearing that day, though. "Refresh my memory," Chase prompted Storm, the tease audible in his voice.

Lucretia pouted, as if she would give in that easily, she would make life that much harder for him just for the fun of it.
"How about we make a deal, promise me I'll get to see you again, and I'll make sure I can give you a night you'll never forget." there was a small smirk on her lips, and a tiny glint in her eyes. She was being serious about the first part. She definitely did not want this to be just it, and he would move on to his next target. She knew that he was not going to go through the whole monogamy deal anytime soon, but she was going to make sure that she wasn't going to be just thrown away now that he had his freedom, not that it didn't sting a little, but she wouldn't chain him up, and he wouldn't accept anyways.
