Adara smiled then. "But that is why I love to write," she said, looking aside at Dru from beneath thick lashes. "Even when I close my mind, I can see my stories, and they bring me to the secret places that I love. Is it not so for you?" Adara tilted her head curiously.

Dru nodded, "Yeah." She thought for a second, remembering the times that she had sorted out her feelings through writing, it was very therapeutic to her. She looked out over the lake and saw where the sun was, then realized that it was close to time for her to be at the Club, "I'm sorry, I have to go," she said, standing up.

Adara was disappointed, but would not keep Dru unwillingly. "I am glad to have met you, Dru," she said with a smile. With brief words of parting, Adara watched Dru leave, then turned back to her journal with a smile.
