[Adara Snow]

Adara stood in shock beneath the nearby trees, clutching her journal. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Ryan was her friend, and he'd said such vile things. She looked at the other boy, wondering what would happen now. Ryan had accused this boy of horrible, unthinkable things, and then he'd left them together.

[Ryan Magby]

Ryan walked into the distance as sat under a tree watching Emilian, he didnt want him to do anything to Adara as well, so he sat there out of their view ready to strike if he needed to.

[Emilian Sota]

Emilian glared after Ryan, not really feeling the need to answer, he felt as though Ryan had left under the lable of 'ass' instead of him. He turned and looked over to the girl, "Do you believe him?" he asked, wondering how long he'd be able to keep up the pretense. For the first time he was able to look her over, and it nearly brought a smile to his face.

"Should I?" Adara asked, the words soft, hesitant, but filled with emotion. She still felt near crying, even with the argument over for now. She held her book against her chest, crossed arms making her feel only the slightest more secure. She looked at the boy from beneath damp, ink-black eyelashes, hoping that somehow he could explain.

"Have I given you any reason not to?" Emilian asked, sticking his hands in his pockets. He took a few steps toward her so that he could speak softer. He had the feeling that Ryan hadn't left completely and he didn't want the brat hearing everything he said.

Adara shook her head. "No, you haven't." But Ryan...Ryan had said...but then, was Ryan who she'd thought he was? It was so confusing. Adara made no move to leave, but watched the boy, wondering why her pulse was pounding when he'd been nothing but polite.

Ryan watched from the distance with wand in hand as Emilian stepped a little closer to Adara. He was not going to let anything happen to her.

"Then why should you believe him?" Emilian had moved away from direct, straight-forward lies and towards vagueness. He didn't lie when it wasn't needed, but Ryan got under his skin enough to where it had been worth it.

[Adara Snow]

Adara tilted her head slightly. "Because he is my friend," she said, as though that answered everything in itself. But if she were to believe that, then she would need to believe that the boy she was talking to was a kind of monster she couldn't understand. She was still searching her mind for some of the words that Ryan had used against him.

[Emilian Sota]

"You've heard what I've said, I'll let you decide," Emilian said, taking another step towards her. He was unable to stop himself from staring at her hair, at the line of her lips, the curve of her neck. Especially the curve of her neck. He silently cursed Lucretia. He planned on trying his hardest to prove her that she was wrong.

Adara felt strange with him looking at her like that, though she wasn't sure what she was seeing in his eyes. Her lashes fluttered down a moment as she tried to think, to make the decision that he was asking for. She could see no reason not to. Perhaps he and Ryan had only had a misunderstanding? She breathed in deeply, then looked back up at the boy. "What is your name?" she asked at last. She wanted to talk to him. He had taken an interest in her, and he seemed so nice that she couldn't possibly turn him away.

"Emilian, and yours?" he asked, smiling. He pulled his eyes up to hers and looked deep into them. Many of the girls he had met at this place would have been able to see through him with the first words from his mouth, but she believed him it seemed.

[Adara Snow]

"Adara," she said, her lips curving in answer to his. Her arms lowered, and she tucked her book under one arm as she extended the other for a handshake. She couldn't help noticing how attractive he was just then, and a light blush stained her cheeks as she dropped her gaze, reminding herself that she shouldn't think such things.

Ryan sighed as Adara had apparently believed Emilian. He didnt know what to do, not wanting her to get hurt like Vannah.

Emilian smiled and took her hand, shaking it and bringing her knuckles to his lips before releasing it. Was that breaking the deal? No, not just yet. "Beautiful name." His eyes sparkled when he noticed the color in her cheeks. "You have amazing skin," he commented, looking over her face and neck again as he said it.
