"Why would I want to do anything to you?" Emilian said, smiling pleasantly, "And from what I've heard through the school, you screwed up your own life." If the stories about him, Savannah, and Pandora were all true, that is.

Ryan looked at him "I didnt end our relationship, i did screw up but you are the reason she left me."

[Adara Snow]

Adara's eyes widened a bit at that accusation. Ryan had only briefly mentioned having some sort of issue with a girlfriend. Here he was, confessing that he'd done something wrong, and still blaming it on the other boy? She was confused, and was beginning to wish she could simply fade away.

"I still don't see how it's my problem, you lost her trust and that, by far," Emilian said, "Is the worst thing you can do to someone you love." He finished with an air of dismissal, Ryan had the gift of grating on his last nerve.

Ryan sighed as he looked at Adara "I guess i should give you some explanation.... I cheated on my girlfriend, probably not as bad as everyone is saying. I felt like crap soon after so i ended it with the other girl... Then my girlfriend ran into him" he said pointing at Emilian "Go ahead and asked him how many times she said no, how much she tried to get away, because he will probably gladly tell you."

Cheated on my girlfriend...not as bad as everyone is saying... Adara didn't hear anything he said after that confession. She couldn't understand how he could just casually brush aside something like that, how he could have done something like that without remorse. And he was blaming this other boy for something he'd done later on.

It didn't make sense to her, it was too much to take in all at once. Adara moved to her feet in one swift, graceful motion, the first tears of confusion beginning to glitter in her eyes. She didn't want to hear anymore. She was a heartbeat away from bolting simply so she didn't have to hear more.

Ryan sighed "Please let me explain. Dont think i dont take blame for losing her, because i do and the way you saw me at the pitch is how i have been for a long time because of what i did, but that didnt end my relationship, we got through that. He raped her, he made her to where she doesnt want to be near anyone anymore."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Emillian said, the lie coming easily to his lips. At first he hadn't known exactly why he was denying everything Ryan said, instead of pushing it in his face, but he knew now that it was purely to anger Ryan, to make him look the worse. When he saw the tears in the girl's eyes, he took his chance, "You see what you've done?" he asked, eyes glinting slightly as he looked up at Ryan.

"Rape?" The word was little more than a breath on Adara's lips, but somehow, she found herself looking at Ryan for answers, waiting for him to tell her that he'd said those things in anger. She couldn't believe it of someone who'd stood so patiently while another insulted him. "I don't understand, Ryan," she pleaded.

Ryan ignored Emilian and kept looking at Adara "He kept trying to take advantage of her from the moment they met, he used his wand to cut a mark into her stomach, then sometime after that he met her in the owlery and made his move. From what I heard she kept saying no and kept trying to get away but he wouldnt let her."

"Why would I do something like that?" Emilian asked, "I would never do something the other person didn't want." Granted, she hadn't wanted it at the time, but at some point she had, and he knew it.

Ryan decided not to ignore that one "Bull s**t.... she didnt want anything from you and we both know it" he said knowing that it was a half truth, she had gone out looking for revenge on him but she didnt want what happened. Ryan looked back at Adara "And Vannah isnt the only girl he has been with, but at least the rest of them were willing, some of them did it only to help others though."

Adara felt trapped, like this was some show simply for her benefit. "I want to believe you, Ryan," she said, her voice tense with emotion. "Have you heard yourself? I...I can't..." She clutched her journal to her chest and took a few halting steps back toward the trees. She looked apologetically to the other boy. "I'm sorry," she said, perhaps for the part of her that wondered if what Ryan said was true.

"Actually, from the time or two I've met with her, she seemed very receptive to me," it was a partial truth, she had faltered when pushing him away. "Though I'd never go after someone that was taken. As for the other one," he emphasized the number, there was only one girl he had went so far with other than Savannah. "She asked me for everything I gave her." He looked back over at the girl, "Don't worry about it, I'm used to it from this guy." The way he said it sounded as though Ryan constantly went after him.

Ryan watched Adara walk away and then he looked at Emilian "You really are an ass you know that? So quick to tell everyone else what happened until then." he said and turned to walk away.
