It hadn't taken long for news of some sort of fight to reach Pandora but then again she had her sourses and had always been good at finding out about interesting events. She hadn't gotten any of the details though so she decided to travel to the hospital wing to check it out for herself. She walked through the hallway and up to the door before looking in, she probably shouldn't have been suprised to see Chase there but she was anyway. "What happened?" She questioned suprise creeping into her voice as she moved over to the side of the bed and sat down on the edge of it being careful not to bump or jar him, not knowing the extent on his injuries.

Chase had been in a light, restless sleep, and the sound of the heavy Hospital Wing door opening had brought him fully awake. If he was surprised to see Pandora, he didn't show it. "I found Emilian," Chase said, answering her question with a shimmer of residual anger in his eyes. Yes, he'd found Emilian, and unfortunately, his surprise attack hadn't gone quite the way he'd planned.

Pandora just stared at him for a moment "And does he look worse or better then you right now." She knew that both of them were good fighters and so would have thought that any serious fight between them would be to the death but she would have heard about it if someone had died. The whole school would have heard.

Chase's eyes narrowed. "Much worse," he said, though he couldn't be sure if it was true. "I'd have taken him out if his girlfriend hadn't stepped in. He was hiding behind her the whole time." It was close enough. Adara had stepped in, and Emilian hadn't argued. At least he didn't need to hide behind his girlfriend's skirt.

Wait Emilian had a girlfriend, Pandora figured it would happen sooner or later though she figured it would happen outside of the school. "Ouch so you had to fight against him and his girlfriend, I really would have thought you wouldn't have put yourself into that situation at least without back up." Wasn't Chase suposed to have his own girlfriend to watch his back. She was also sure that Emilian had given just as good as he had gotten.

Chase's jaw tensed a moment before he trusted himself to speak. "I meant to take him out with the first shot. She wasn't even supposed to know I was there." Chase gritted his teeth. "But I got distracted, and I missed." After that, the rest was history. "Adara protected him," Chase said, not a little bitterly. "But, I don't know, she got sick of it or something and let her shield down, so we went ahead and threw some spells." Major spells, though not a single Unforgiveable this time. But only because Dru had been there. Dru, whose presence Chase had left entirely out of his story.

"You let yourself get distracted in a fight." It came out without her thinking, Chase didn't seem dumb or unfocused enough to let himself get distracted. She reached out a hand and touched Chases face, even in the drab surroundings he wasn't that bad to look at actually the hospital bed had done little to put a dent in his natual hottness.

Chase's lips parted, ready to argue, but the unexpected soft touch of Pandora's hand caught the words before he spoke them. He closed his mouth, recalling the last time he'd met Pandora, and the brief but tension-filled kiss they'd shared. His gaze moved across her face, down to her lips before flicking away to the safety of the room. It took him a moment to jog his thoughts into place, to recall his argument. "I didn't let myself get distracted." Dru stopped me. He wouldn't say it; and where was his argument, anyway?

Pandora smiled, that sounded more like the Chase she knew, "Oh really...do tell." Whatever or whoever had distracted Chase was sure to be rather interesting. She leaned towards him slightly waiting to hear whatever answer he came up with, her eyes rested upon his face her hand delicately upon his cheek. She wondered how much she could get away with especially if he couldn't run away this time.

Chase's jaw tensed, and his eyes flickered with crimson. He didn't want to say it, didn't want to bring her up, didn't want to end up angry for something he really should've expected her to do anyway. And he didn't want to give Pandora more fuel. "Why are you here?" he asked, voice low, but as tense as the rest of him, which didn't do much for the pain. He ignored the pain and brought his eyes to Pandora's, silently demanding not only an answer, but some kind of truth.

Pandora had to realize that that she needed to drop that piece of conversation at least for now, "Oh I heard their had been a fight and I had to find out what had happened." It was the truth of why she had come but not why she had stayed because of course Chase was the reason she had stayed past walking in the door. Well she guessed there were probably other people she would have stayed for but that list wasn't very long.

Chase said nothing in response. He knew that there was more, the same as he'd known there was more in the Common Room. He could feel the difference from the day they'd first talked in a corridor about harems, of all things. He watched her a moment, knowing what the difference was, but unsure about the level of her intent. Did she want him? Or had she simply decided he'd be fun to tease? Chase decided that line of thinking was dangerous and cut himself off, looking out into the room again. "Now you know," he said, finally responding. "Glad I could satisfy your curiosity." There wasn't nearly enough bitterness in the word to cover his momentary lapse. Chase's jaw tightened further.

Pandora smirked totally ignoring his tone of voice "Oh no, you've gotten nowhere near that. If anything you've only made me more curious." Now she wanted to know all the whys and hows instead of just what happened. And now that she wasn't getting those answers it was beginning to get a bit aggravating not that she showed it at all. Chase just didn't want to talk about whatever it was right now.

Chase's lips curved into a devilish half-smile. "Good." He gave Pandora an unreadable look, trying just once more to measure her up before deciding it wasn't worth the effort. She could play whatever the hell game she wanted; she still hadn't convinced him that it was worth playing. "Have you visited your friend, Emilian?" Chase didn't bother dampening the loathing in his voice as he dragged the conversational reigns away from the unspoken back to the obvious. He didn't have the energy to overthink things right now.

Pandora rolled her eyes, since it seemed that Emilian was farther from the door it only made since that she had talked to Chase first. "No I haven't, though since you care so much about him maybe I should." She couldn't let his remark go unanswered, even for the wonderful little game she was playing, it would have been out of character. She bent down and kissed him quickly "Plus your more interesting." much, much more interesting. And like every girl she needed to have some fun elements in her life.
