"Thanks." For all the fact that Chase was suspicious as hell, he couldn't help soaking up the compliment any more than he could stop himself from responding to the kiss, brief as it was. He knew a tease when he saw one, but all the same...a kiss that quick only emphasized how much more he wasn't getting. And he wasn't getting it from Dru, either. She had high standards as to how much energy, and what kind, he should be expending while laid up in the hospital. That meant little more than the kiss Pandora had just given him.
He wondered idly how much more he could get away with, even if he realized he wouldn't act on his thoughts. That realization only annoyed him further, as did the realization that he was watching Pandora, interest obvious in his eyes. He looked away, removing the sight of temptation.

((So its taken so long...I have a huge paper due.))
"Your welcome...lover" There was obvious teasing in Pandora's voice and eyes. She wondered how far she could take this. She knew that Chase was frustrated wih his situation with Dru, but it didn't take a genius to figure that out. It would have come to a shock to Pandora if Dru hadn't even figured it out yet. Besides all Pandora cared about was having some fun, and there was nothing wrong with that.
She looked down at him noticing that he was looking away from her, how cute, not that she thought he would appriciate it if he knew that she was calling him cute, even if it was only to herself. She ran the back of her fingers across his cheek. How long was he going to be stuck in here anyway.

Chase's gaze flicked back to Pandora at her choice of pet names. He was already getting bored of the game, already wanted her to just get to the point. He wasn't the most patient person to begin with, and being trapped in a hospital bed did nothing to improve his disposition. "What do you want from me?" Chase asked, his voice low, but neutral. He didn't care one way or another what she answered, as long as he got an actual answer rather than playful avoidance. "Whatever game you're playing, I'm not really motivated to join in on it yet." She'd have to declare her hand or at least raise the stakes to get a rise out of him.

Pandora smiled, what was it that she always wanted. "Fun of course, and maybe even you...though it would have to be the you that's not domesticated." meaning she wanted the Chase that he was before he was constantly worrying about Dru and making their relationship or whatever work. "And isn't life itself a game." She didn't see any purpose in hinding the truth when he had made a point of asking the question right out there. Besides it was no secret that for Pandora everything was a game. And that which wasn't, if it even existed, she either hadn't experianced or it wasn't worth even a second of her time. Guys on the other hand were always a game, and a game she had always enjoyed. And with that thought she decided to kiss Chase yet again.

Life was a game. And where had his ability to just have fun doing whatever the hell he wanted gone? Chase didn't bother answering those questions. He did, however, not only return Pandora's kiss, but took it over, giving her a taste of what she wanted; playfulness, intensity, and just enough of a hint of desperation to let her know how easy it would be to keep going. Chase let the kiss grow, purposefully tempting and teasing with the skill and assurance of one who knew exactly how intoxicating a good kiss could be. But he didn't keep going. Pandora was a tease, a game, and there was no way she was worth losing Dru over. Chase had let it get just far enough to declare his hand; she had no idea what she was messing with. He broke the kiss, dark eyes glinting with crimson edges. "That's the last time," he assured her. "You can keep your kisses; I'm not interested." The kiss had been more a statement of power than anything.

Pandora just smirked and stood up, she knew another player even if he was fighting his own nature. She also knew that no one could continue fighting against themselves without going insane or reverting back to who they should be. Besides she was sure that she had already won her bet even if everyone but herself had forgotten it. "Thats nice, when you get bored of life on the short leash you know where to find me lover." The last part was tagged on with extra teasing in her voice. She had decided it was a cute nickname for him and planned to continue using it. Though she was sure he wouldn't want her saying it where Dru could hear, but what the heck it wasn't like she actually ever ran into Dru.

Chase's eyes narrowed dangerously. Why had he expected her to get his point? She was easily as arrogant as he was. "When I get bored, I won't be finding you," he said, the words just caustic enough to bite. No, when he got bored, he was going to play the field; he was starting over with girls who didn't know how to rub him the wrong way. Maybe he'd find that French girl he'd met in the Common Room, the brunette at the Quidditch Pitch. Anyone but Pandora, anyone but Storm. But he wasn't bored yet. Not enough to let go.

Pandora smirked and turned to leave, he sure was defensive. "Whatever you say lover." And then she walked out of the room, she was beginning to get bored and she was sure that their was plenty of other stuff she could be doing at the moment other then listening to Chase.
