[Annabelle Hennessy]

Annabelle's smile weakened. She knew that the war had hit personally on increasing numbers and wondered if that was what bothered Druscilla, or if it had been something else not quite as dramatic. She forced the question from her mind - It wasn't her business unless Dru felt like sharing it. "I guess I'm not helping much then am I?"

[Druscilla Grace]

Dru shrugged, "You're not hurting, talking is a big stress reliever." She smiled at her, "Go ahead and ask if you want, at face value it doesn't seem like very much, some serious guy trouble."

[Annabelle Hennessy]

"Guy trouble?" Annabelle was was only briefly relieved that it wasn't anything worse then normal teenage problems, then Dru's wording caught her attention. It obviously wasn't normal everyday issues, but something deeper. "If you want to talk about it, I'm a good listener."

[Druscilla Grace]

"Well," Dru said, thinking, by now she could talk about things without it really bothering her. Sitting alone and thinking about them, now that was a different story. "There's Michael, who lied to me and turned out to be on the wrong side of the fight, then there's," she paused, "This other guy, that I'm falling for, which I really shouldn't do." She shrugged and looked down, "I guess whatever happens....happens..."

Annabelle took in what she'd said. This Michael guy had obviously gotten close to her; otherwise she'd have written him off completely when he betrayed her trust. But why shouldn't she fall for this new guy? He couldn't be any worse then turning out to be helping You-Know-Who. "What's wrong with this new guy? Is it because of Michael, or does he have two heads or something?"

Anna didn’t have too much experience with guys. She’d only dated one guy, which had turned out all wrong. Other then that there was the incident in the library, but she still wasn’t sure what to think about that. She knew this would be a one-sided conversation, but sometimes those were the best and most helpful type.

"I'm trying to move away from Michael," Dru said, the words just kind of coming out, she wasn't able to stop them once she started. "Now the other guy, he's kissed at least two other girls, I'm positive, actually met one of them." She looked at the girl, wondering if she was talking too much, if she should stop. But she was asking, so Dru figured it was alright. "But, man, is he a good kisser," she said, grinning. The grin faded though, she was still unsure as to what she would do, what she could do about it.

"Guys can be such scum sometimes. I had a guy dump me because I didn't fall into his trap to 'deflower' me." Annabelle rolled her eyes. "Sometimes I really think they come from a different planet."

[Druscilla Grace]

"Men are from Mars, women are from Venus," Dru quoted in a slightly sing-song voice, grinning. "I had a crush on a guy once and my friends snuk him a love potion, that was a nightmare."

[Annabelle Hennessy]

"What happened??" Annabelle squeaked with interest. She leaned forward on her elbows, waiting for the story.

[Druscilla Grace]

Dru laughed, she hadn't been able to tell the story in ages. "Well, we weren't in the same dorm, it's not the same back home as it is here. We have these huge antique Victorian style houses, mansions, really. And I woke up one day to someone banging on my window! I look out, and there he is, holding some bleeding hearts, which are my favorite flower, and some chocolate!" She giggled at the memory of the look in his eyes.

"He followed me around all day, refusing to let me carry any books, wouldn't even let me carry a notebook at one time, I had to duck into the bathrooms all day just to take a breath. The whole day my friends were walking behind me laughing their heads off, at lunch he confessed his undying love for me....in song."

[Annabelle Hennessy]

"Oh my!" Annabelle giggled. "And what became of it? How did you end it? I would have been mortified!" She couldn't imagine having such a thing turn so terribly wrong.

[Druscilla Grace]

"Well, knocked him out with a stunning spell and sent him to the hospital wing," she gave a wicked grin, "Then teased him relentlessly for months afterwards."

[Annabelle Hennessy]

"You must have been the talk of the school for some time after that." She replied in awe. Annabelle couldn't imagine being so bold. "I probably would have just ran until the potion wore off."

Dru laughed, "I was for a little while, but it was more about him, he's known as one of the more manly guys at the school, Chaser and everything, you know."

[Annabelle Hennessy]

"I can only imagine how bad that must have hurt his reputation. Was it bad on you too though? When Derek dumped me, he let everyone alive know that I was a 'frigid witch' and no other guys even bothered talking to me. Not that I minded much, but still." Annabelle sighed, thinking she must have been a pretty big dork to not care if any other guys took interest in her last year.
