"Emilian Sota." From under the counter Emilian pulled a box and placed the necklace delicately inside. The sight of his naked hand reminded him of the glove in his pocket, which he retrieved and slid on as he told her the price. "If you were interested in making a deal, you didn't have to use the necklace as pretense, Miss."

Aline had two options. On the one hand, she could pretend his name didn't ring any bells, but if he later found out she was a pureblood in society then maybe he would question the lack of recognition. Her lips turned up once more in a coy smile aware of the slight blush that creeped onto her cheeks. She leaned forward watching as he expertly put the necklace away while simultaneously pulling out a satchel of gallons. She counted out the amount and handed it over to him at this point she still hadn't said anything. It felt like a lot of time had passed, but this had all happened within five minutes. "Sometimes one has to know who they're dealing with before making an offer," she looked up at him from between her eyelashes if her body language before wasn't displayed seductively it was now. "I couldn't miss out on something so beautiful, but it's even better now knowing we'd be dealing with someone of your caliber." while her father did deal with a lot of those in the higher societies, they knew very little of the intimate details. "Aline Saroyan, but you may call me Aline."

Emilian only took the money once his glove was firmly in place. And he used his gloved hand. He recognized that posture, and he didn't need any further temptations. "Pleasure," he said, filing her name away. "And honestly, while I do good business, it isn't exactly busy business. If you're free now, I could close shop, there are a few places in town." Besides, independent businesses were allowed to close early if they wanted to. At least ever since the fiasco with Isolde he'd gotten quite a few fewer dirty looks when he was out and about.

While it was spur of the moment, this was her chance and her father would understand why she had to move quickly. "I have no plans for the rest of my evening. I would be happy to accompany you anywhere," she didn't know this part of the world and so she would have to have him pick the spot. Even though this was a business meeting, it was a perfect opportunity to get to know him-- or for him to get to know her. "We prefer more personal businesses than large scale retailers. My father finds they respect the craft and art."

Emilian shrugged with one shoulder and closed up the register. "I didn't know much when I bought the place," he said. "I've learned a lot since, though. As you can see, I can actually do a lot on my own now." A sweeping hand showed the little collection of tools he'd been using when she had walked in. More materials were strewn about the back rooms and in his flat. He really had been meaning to convert a room to an actual workspace.
"Come on, the Three Broomsticks is used a lot for this kind of thing." He waved his wand to send his tools back to their safe spaces, then rounded the counter again. The Three Broomsticks had enough nooks and crannies they could find somewhere semi-private to discuss things. Another flick of his wand summoned a cloak.

Aline shrugged her cloak back on hiding her tiny frame. "Impressive," a compliment here and there never hurt anyone. All this information he was giving him was being filed away in her mind for when it would be beneficial to bring up. While it didn't show she was a tad bit nervous worried that she would screw things up. Aline couldn't think that way she had to be confident things would continue to go her way. She made sure to tuck her new necklace away in her satchel before returning her attention to him. "Lead the way."
