5'9" and slender, with hazel eyes typically an off-shade of light brown, but sometimes a murky green. Black hair, dresses "goth."
Personality:
Tries to be serious and dark, a bit of a know-it-all, but has a playful side his friends get to see. Loves all kinds of music, loves reading, writing, and other artistic pursuits.
Background:
Has an older brother, Caspian Tyme Catalyst, who attends Valfirdu University as a grad student. His brother is more scene, and very confident and outgoing. Castiel looks up to his brother.
The two are Pureblood, but after their father died, their mother remarried. Their Society family wants little to do with them now, but their Muggle stepfather has raised them since Castiel was little, and they call him dad.
Castiel's mother is currently pregnant with her third child, and first daughter.

Castiel's stepfather is cousins with Marius Reed's mother. Though they didn't live near one another, they were both raised in Florida and knew each other well enough to gravitate together once they entered wizarding school.
The two have been best friends since first year, and though their tastes differ, they have enough in common to love each other. Platonically. Mostly.
