Brindle almost wished she hadn't said that, but she turned around anyway, bracing herself for a kick to the spine or something equally horrible. In a real fight she wouldn't have that luxury, but she couldn't very well control it, could she? Besides, it would be interesting to see if it made a difference when the other person meant it.
She could just hear the sound of feet against the ground and took a sharp breath. In the moment of impact, she let that breath out with a loud KEE-YAH! and bent forward, using Pansy's own momentum against her. If she'd been grabbed around the shoulders like she'd expected she'd have grabbed an arm and thrown the girl to the ground. As it was, she somersaulted just far enough off the ground to combine that momentum with her own body weight and, hopefully, to land half on top of Pansy, knocking the air out of her.

It was over in a flash, Pansy was on her back, trying to catch her breath with Brindle on top. "Say....your....good!" she puffed between breaths. "But I thought this was a training session for me to?" she laughed. Ouch she shouldn't laugh yet it hurt breathing never mind laughing. Running her hand through her hair, Pansy inhaled deeply trying to get her breath back. This wasn't over yet, she was determined not to let Brindle have one over on her. "But how?! she pondered.

Brindle gave a little chuckle and moved off Pansy onto the grass. "If it wasn't practice, you'd be seeing stars," she said. She was out of breath too, but it was from the excitement as much as the effort. "See? I didn't punch you or anything!"
She moved to get back to her feet, then dusted off her camo trousers. "I'll teach you a basic flip if you swear not to gut-punch me or something when I'm on the ground," she said. She'd tried teaching it to Markise when she'd learned it, but he hadn't had enough patience, nor had he wanted anything to do with his little sister throwing him around.

"That's probably true since in still intact in a way." Pansy laughed scanning her body just to make sure. She got to her feet and was ready for more. "Ha that's if I could even get you to the ground!" she joked. "I'm ready when you are!" Pansy had been in many of fights at home especially with the local gangs but they were slow and thick lumps! None would have the thinking capacity to plan out a statagy. But then none of them were martial arts professionals. Pansy laughed into herself imagining the gangs faces if the were to pick a fight with Brindle, they would probably scratch each others heads the dumb f.. She was daydreaming Pansy had to focus she couldn't afford to take anymore defeats.

"Okay, stand here like this," Brindle said, gesturing. "I'm going to grab you around your shoulders and hold on." She stood in place like she was playing victim to show Pansy just what she needed to do. The basic idea of it was to grab Brindle's arm and lean forward sharply enough to pick her up onto her back, then keep going to flip her. "Think you've got it?" Brindle asked.

"Yep I think so," Pansy stood in the position Brindle showed her. "Now concentrate Pansy, you know you can do this!" she told herself. Feeling Brindles arms tightened around we shoulder, she inhaled deeply taking in the Brindles scent, it was sweet but had a strong musk to it. Grabbing Brindles arm tightly, Pansy closed her eyes and leaned forward bringing the weight of Brindle across her back.

If it was a bit unsure or unsteady, it still worked, and Brindle landed on her back with a thud and an oomph. She managed to smile up at Pansy from the ground. "Yeah, like that," she said, giving a breathless chuckle.
She was oblivious to any kind of moment Pansy might have been having, or any special notice that had been taken of her. It wasn't that she hadn't thought of things like that, her brother was gay, but she kept so busy that she didn't have time. She'd sadly gotten used to being alone.
"Good job," she told Pansy.

Smiling with success Pansy clamped her hands together in the air,"Woooo!!!!. "Oh let me give you a hand up" Pansy noticed Brindle on the ground on her back and offered a hand. "Wow thanks Brindle, must say I didn't expect to pull it off!" still beaming Pansy headed to her jacket a pulled out her trusty hip flask,"Need a well deserved drink" she laughed unscrewing the top. Taking a mouthful she offered Brindle a drink, she was trying to be as polite as possible but she hoped she wasn't crossing a line with Brindle. "So what's next ole dragon master?" Pansy asked giving a sort of bow to Brindle. The night had turned out to be slightly better than she anticipated.
