Evan pushed open the stiff door to her new shop. With the help of her mothers funds Evan got her shop. She heard the soft chirps of the owls and the squeaks of the mice. A soft musty spell welcomed her as he entered. The place was a little dusty but nothing a few spells wouldn't fix. Evan took out her wand and got to work. As she worked she took a mental note of which animals needed ordered in an she definitely needed to restock the store. Heading to the counter, wiping the little bead of perspiration that had begun to form with the back of her hand. She spotted a pile of books that she prayed was the stock books. To her relief they were and she began working and only stopped to look up as the stiff door to the shop opened slightly..

She walked up to the front of the store to see that people still didn't really care about who was in the store, they would always seem to destroy the windows. She propped herself up on a pair of crutches for a minute while trying to open the door, but she only resulted in getting the door only a little bit open. "I hate these doors, they never open when you want them to." She said as she tried not to curse.

Spoting a glimpse of a metal crutch Evan waved her wand to open the door for her costumer. Smiling from her counter Evan felt a warm wave of happiness fill up inside her, her first costumer! Okay the place was dull, dirty and needed redecorating big time! She knew she would have her work cut out for her. "Hi there!" Evan warmly welcomed her costumer, "Do you need a hand?" she added walking around the counter towards the door.

"Hi, yes, please and thank you, that would be lovely." She said as she propped herself up on the crutches. She whimpered as she realized that she had put the tip of one the crutches on her feet and then grumbled.

Evan went over to the girl and placed her arm under hers, helping to take most of the weight of her feet. With her free hand Evan waved her wand at a chair to come closer to the pair. "Come and sit, take the strain of for a while." Evan said smiling as she nodded towards the chair that was beside them, hopefully the girl wouldnt take it as an insult. It was her first costumer of the day and she wanted everything to run smoothly.

"Thank you, I twisted my ankle a coulpe of days ago and although, I probably don't need the crutches, my doctors think it's better if you don't put pressure on it." She said as she sat down in the chair.

"I'm surprised the Healers just didn't mend it straight away for you?" Evan questioned as she helped the girl onto the chair. Stand up straight an smiling Evan said, "Welcome to Evans Shop for all Mythical Creatures! I'm Evan by the way.." she was quite dramatic but it added a bit of excitement to the dull, bare shop. "It's just opened and I do need to restock a few things but what ever you want I will attempt to have it shipped in within the week." Evan beamed, she had thought up a name for her shop on the spot and seemed to be making a good impression. "So what can I help you with today dear?"

"Twigs and branch's don't come of out knees very easily and they said that they wanted to amputate it and said, no, that I needed both of my legs and got second opinion in the muggle world and although, it's been a lot of meds and such, I think that it was the better option for me, at least." She said chuckling. "My name's Tori and I hate it say, but this pathetic looking right now. I don't know yet, but I did come in here for something, I just don't remember what I came in here for though."

"Ah right I understand now. Sounds like you have had it rough? Well it's nice to meet you Torie" Evan said sympathetically, she walked to the counter and pulled out a dusty book, "I have no idea how long this has been here but it has quite few different creatures in it that may jog your memory of what your looking for. Some maybe extinct by now but who knows?" Evan laughed whilst using her wand to put a desk in front of Torie and placed the book in front of her. "Take you time looking through it, would you like some refreshments while your here?" Evan felt she maybe going over the top of the nice shop keeper role but she would learn from people's reactions whether they were too much or not.

"Yeah, well, it's ok, that's the only thing I have to deal with, my husband's schizophrenic, I've also had to go through chemo because 4sub]1/2[/sub] years after, they still hadn't done the surgery just to be cautious and plus you never going to find. I'm veterinarian and a Marjory of pets just running around. The books been here since I was here, yes, I used to own the shop and I had better books when I owned it. I do need a couple of dogs, but I forget what type I needed." She said laughing. "I was thinking, this isn't a one person and maybe we could come to sort of partnership, not right away, but maybe later."

"Oh I'm so sorry to hear about him, my thoughts are with you." Evan said sympathically, she hated hearing about troubled families even her own. "I believe I have another book with different breeds of dogs if you want to have a look? I know I have two German Shepard puppies out the back but that's all at the moment." Evan asked whilst heading back to her counter. "Oh you used to own this shop? Wow maybe you can give me a few tips." she laughed. Pulling out her brand new book of dog breeds she headed back to Tori. "Here you are!" Evan smiled, "but about the job I'm not sure if I could afford to employ someone else? It's cost me an arm and a leg to open the place and the amount of work that needs I will need every penny I can get my hands on." Evan explained she felt sorry for the woman but it was true she didn't have the money to pay her. The redecoraters would be in next week gutting the place out and she had to pay them up front.
