"Go f~ing be sorry somewhere else," Lyric said coldly. "The shop's closed." The more submissive Jory got the more it pissed him off. He wasn't allowed even a day of weakness, and he couldn't take it in someone he'd tried so hard and so long to please. People saw what they wanted to see, and this was what he was now. He was tired of trying to make other people happy.

Jory reached up and wiped at eyes that couldn't be dry for much longer as he turned once more to leave. In all the ways he had imagined talking to Lyric would go, he hadn't imagined it could go like this. It looked like he just shouldn't have come in the first place.

Lyric locked the door with a swift nonverbal spell and nearly tripped over Shadow on the way across the shop. The cat's eyes narrowed at a string of cursing, but it followed dutifully as he stormed upstairs and raged against nothing. Lyric was getting dressed, changing out of his slightly more customer-friendly clothes, and the cat rested on a table against the wall, its tail twitching.
"I'm not going to London," Lyric hissed at it. "I'm going to f~ Keith, so leave me the hell alone!" In minutes, he was back down the stairs and heading off toward Hogwarts.
