"Oh...all right.." Vannah said in a non-bleieving voice to tease him. The elbow she was leaning on gave out and she fell into him with a small surprised shriek.

Ryan caught Vannah as she fell into him and he looked into her eyes "You ok?"

"Yeah." Vannah looked up and felt a twang in her heart because she was so close to him. For a moment she just stayed there looking at him in a daze.

Vannah pushed herself up slowly. Her breath was shallow as her face was inches away from his. There was a slight rush of cold wind and Vannah blinked. "Er....Yeah." She said regaining her balance and hastedly moving to her previous spot.

Ryan's heart beated faster as their faces came so close to each other. Ryan watched her sit back up and looked at her "So why did you come up here today?"

She brought herself in and it took her a while to process the question and respond. "Oh, I-I guess it's because they all think I'm shutting myself up anyways, I might as well do it. Or maybe because I knew none of them would be here to give any pep talk crap." Vannah said with a smidge of bitterness. "I don't know. It's nice reassuance." She said looking at the vast area.

Vannah looked down. "It depends on who. It's not my room so I can't really control who comes and goes." She sighed. She loved control. It gave her power and she liked that too.
