Vannah slipped into the empty Room of Requirement. The room had transformed into one of the many hills in Ireland that had been forgotten. It held so many memories for her, most of them she had tried hard to forget them. But there they stuck. She sat on the edge with her feet dangling glad to be away from the nagging she got from the people around her. The one mstake she hadn't realized she made was that she left the door unlocked....

Ryan was walking down the hall to go to the Room of Requirement as he had been doing alot lately and he noticied the door already there. As usual he decided to see who was in it, so he barely opened the door and saw a bunch of hills and Vannah sitting there with her back to him. He just sat there and watched not wanting to interupt her.

Vannah fell back on the hill with her arms out so she was laying down. She rested her head on her arms and looked up. She saw a figure standing in the doorway and sat up abruptly. She twisted her head and shoulders to see who it was.

Ryan watched her look at him "I'll leave if you want me to, I just wanted to see who was in here." he said looking at her, taking in the beauty he hadnt been able to see that much.

She shrugged. "It's fine." She said with a small smile. She turned back around and patted the piece of land next to her for him to sit down. "Have a seat." She said lightly.

Ryan walked in and looked around before sitting beside Vannah "This is beautiful." he said looking back at her.

"It's home." Vannah replied simply. "Well...what would seem like home, I suppose." She said remembering that 'home' was an open term to her. "So what brought you to this neck of the woods in the first place?" She asked trying to strike up conversation.

Ryan looked out at the rest of the scene "Ive been spending alot of time up here lately, just coming back up here to get away from the rest of the school for a while."

"Good idea." Vannah teased. "It's a nice place." She said leaving the rest of her thought out. "Though why would you want to get away?" She took a risk and asked without thinking. "I mean, it's not exactly horrible for you out there." She regretted it the moment it came out of her mouth.

Ryan sighed "No its not... but its not really good either... I feel empty out there, thats why I come here.. This turns into the family room of my house when im here... its the only place that I feel good."

"But it's worse. To close yourself up in here all of the time." Vannah advised, though a bit hypocritical. "It won't get better unless....Nothing's going to change if...." Vannah couldn't the wording quite rigtht. She took a deep breath. "It will keep getting worse the more you let it." She finally said.

"You say that now." Vannah muttered. "Listen to me, Ryan. Snap out of it, okay?" She said with a sudden burst of aggrivation. "Why are you like this? It's not you." She added the last part quietly.

Ryan sighed "This is what I have been like for the most part of the past 2 years... You saw a different part of me becuase you were the only one to truly make me happy."

"That's not true." Vannah said shaking her head. "You weren't like that at the club. At least from what I can actually remember. And you had no idea who I was at the time." She said putting her arm around his shoulder comfortingly.
