"If we're late and get in trouble," Michael said, not that he saw them getting into any kind of trouble for it at all. "I'll take the blame." He met Dare's eyes for another brief moment before stealing another kiss. It couldn't have been long that he had been in here, he knew they could manage it. He wasn't used to pushing this kind of thing, but he wasn't just going to forget it and walk out, not now.

Whatever argument Dare might have come up with next was lost in the kiss. He couldn't imagine what had gotten into Michael, but at this point something needed to happen or he'd be starting class in a very uncomfortable state. Just a quick one. I'll take the blame. It was surreal, but as Dare's hands tightened against Michael, he had the vague thought that there was a first time for everything.

Michael was thankful for the end of Dare's objections. His hands moved with the knowledge he wouldn't be stopped and he pushed normally savored motions to get through it all in time. While he still couldn't be sure what was making him be like this, he wasn't questioning anymore.

For once, Dare was left trying to keep up, and everything came in a blur of heat and heavy breaths. It was easy to get caught up in the thrill of the rush, in mindlessly seeking that end goal with such determination that the journey became little more than the means. At the end of it all, his mind was gone.

Michael loosened his hands and let his head rest lightly against Dare's. They couldn't have much time left, if any, before classes started up again. He breathed a low I love you as he tried to convince himself he needed to leave. He let his hands move slowly against Dare. "Now I don't want to go back," he said softly.

Dare blinked heavy lashes, Michael's words filtering slowly into focus. "We've got class," he said, though he didn't sound entirely convinced at first. "What time is it?" His heartbeat, only just beginning to slow, picked up again at the thought. Crap. He had no idea how long they'd been in their time warp. There could be students lined up outside and he was half pinned to his desk, and while not wholly disrobed, surely he was impressively disheveled. "Sh~, Michael, we should get up." As much as Dare would love to lounge around with his husband, this was neither the time nor place.

Michael gave a low groan and pulled himself away to straighten clothes and smooth wrinkles. He glanced around for a clock, but wasn't able to focus on the hands to figure out the time. He forced himself to take more distance from Dare to clear his head enough to head back to his room. It was probably past time for them to be in their rooms.

Dare looked at Michael more than a little curiously as he started getting his own clothes back in place. "That was fun," he said, trying to lighten the air. He was able to decipher the clock just fine, and tried not to wince. There would be at least a few students outside when they opened the door, and he didn't even want to think about the fact that they'd all be staring at him for the next hour, albeit in varying states of consciousness.

Michael grinned as he glanced up at Dare. "It was," he said. "I thought I was going to go crazy last period." Any waiting students would be so worth this. If he had the option, he would decide to skip the rest of the day and disappear into their tower, but for now he thought he could wait. Not that he really had a choice in the matter.

Dare's brows arched behind his now-messy fringe. "Really," he wondered aloud, the word barely audible. Michael had always been fine on twice a day, with the exception of Saturdays, and it made him wonder. Maybe Michael had finally caught up with him. Or maybe not. "What kind of spells were you guys working on in Defense?"

"Nothing interesting, really, just reviewing some things from the end of last term," Michael said, shrugging. Which really only made it that much harder to ignore the increasing haze in his mind. "Hopefully the rest of the day will go faster than this morning did." It had been obvious for the first few classes that a lot of the knowledge had left the students' minds over the break.

Dare nodded absently as he looked over Michael, who neither seemed any different that normal nor to realize how bizarre it was for him to make a booty call between classes. That thought put a smile on his face as he moved toward Michael to fix his hair. "We can hang around the tower tonight if you're tired," he offered, though at the moment he didn't seem tired at all. Wired was more like it.

"I don't know that I'll be tired," Michael said, a smile pulling at his lips. "But I'm all for hanging around the tower." They could send for food, who said they had to leave? And so far he was only giving assignments, not getting them back, so he felt a night off wouldn't be such a bad thing. He highly doubted Dare would have any objections.

Dare's brows rose a bit, but no, not a single argument passed his lips. "Count me in," he said, then leaned to steal just the briefest kiss from Michael. Whatever had gotten into him, he was going to enjoy it for however long it lasted. He figured that would be the rest of the day, and by the time the students were back to normal, they would be too.

Michael just kept himself from taking a more lengthy kiss, though he let a hand linger against Dare as he turned to leave. "I'll see you in a couple of hours," he said as he flipped the lock open and opened the door. He hoped the next classes would fly by.
