Everything's fine, my grades are normal. No, I don't have a girlfriend yet, so don't ask.
Aiden hated writing the owl to his dad every week, but if he was so much as a day late he knew he would get two extra ones of is something wrong, do I need to come out, are you okay?, and he just didn't want to deal with that. So he wrote owls.
Every.
Single.
Week.
Apparently his dad didn't care too much that each week it was practically the same thing, that they were in reality just the same one rewritten over and over again with just enough changes to keep him convinced that his son wasn't in mortal peril while attending the safest school in the country. His dad was really dense sometimes, but he was all Aiden had, and he loved him. So he humored him.
