Vivikia frantically searched the floor for her ring...it was so perfect and so one-of-a-kind but now it was sooo lost or so it seemed at least. Vivikia knew all too well how those vile little bratty first and second years like to pick things up. She and Broderick seemed to have had a little too much to drink last night and in their mad slightly drunken dash to avoid suspicion of being past curfew and coming in contact with the new appointed Deputy headmaster who not to mention was their head of house Vivikia had simply forgotten back in ROR or it slipped of in run.
Vivikia was in no hurry now thou as it was early in the afternoon and everyone alive was out enjoy the summer weather. Vivikia just needed to slow down and look carefully and try to unravel the blur that was last night. Sure she could just get another ring...but it would be different and it wouldn't be the same. Vivikia would replace it only if she had to.
It was the farthest from Vivikia's mind what someone would think coming down to find her crouched down and sometimes on all fours looking into all the corners and crevices of the old moldy castle.
Well it wouldn't hurt to look into a nearby classroom to see if it bounced in. Now that she was still on all fours Vivikia crawled into the classroom.

Ryan was walking through the halls. He really didn't feel like going outside at the moment, and couldn't really find anything to do. He was mainly just walking aimlessly until he could find something to do. As he turned the corner he saw a girl on the floor looking for something. He stopped and watched her for a second before asking "What did you lose?"

At the sound of a voice Vivikia promptly froze before turning her head to address her curious , she was quite aware that her skirt was very short and a very sizable amount of her was showing but she did not get up from her position. She looked great, it was no crime.
It was a guy, a very handsome guy who smartly observed what her problem was. With a deep frown Vivikia looked to her observer "I've lost my ring...I haven't the slightest clue where it could be. I fear it could take me the rest of the day to find it...I must find it" Vivikia explained to him, her voice sound a bit defeated and frantic all at once. Thankfully she was out of the dorms where she would have surely have thrown a huge tantrum.
"I'm Vivikia" Vivikia introduced herself softly remembering her manners.

Ryan smiled and looked at her "Nice to meet you, although I am sorry it is under these terms. I am Ryan, and I would love to try and help you." he said softly as he knelt down beside her and held his hand out to help her up "Stand up and take a second to calm down, and lets try to go over what happened when you believe you lost it. You will have a much easier time when you are calm."

Vivikia's frown lessened slightly and a smile graced her features completely after her handsome observer introduced herself "YOU WOULD??? Oh thank you soo much!" she asked and thanked excitedly.
Vivikia toned down her excitement slightly but she still smiled "It's lovely to meet you Ryan"
Vivikia couldn't help but feel slightly giddy about her good fortune and when Ryan knelt down beside her and held out his hand to help her up from the disgusting dirty floor Vivikia started to feel that it wouldn't be so bad if she didn't find her ring but she might find the answer to other problems for other things but for now she was happy where things were going.
Still smiling Vivikia took his hand to help herself stand, she let her hand linger in his for a little bit longer than necessary and with reluctance pulled it from his. " It couldn't hurt to try, would you mind terribly if we go sit down in the classroom for a moment I'm feeling a little faint? "It's so hard being calm about these sorts of things...I've never been terrible about losing things" Vivikia stated as she slowlywalked gracefully into the neighboring classroom.

Ryan smiled and nodded and followed her into the classroom "It's nice to meet you too. I understand its hard, but you can do it. So let me take a guess, there was alcohol involved when you lost your ring?" he asked with a smile. He could tell from her state that she was a little hung over, and he knew a lot about that from his times.

Vivikia gracefully made her way into the classroom and took a seat upon what would have been the teacher's desk. It was really what she had enjoyed doing while exploring around and perhaps a not so distant tryst was also a reason.
"Well I guess that settles it then, if you think I can do it must be true" Vivikia answered in her most convincingly confident voice. When Ryan guessed that the result of the loss of her ring was due to alcohol Vivikia looked away slightly a little bit but try to keep her dignity intact while answering.
"I wouldn't say it was that much really but of course a lady doesn't talk about such things but I don't think that's totally why I lost it you see I was really just exploring I've never really been in such an enormous school before... Well anyway I don't think I was up here alone and I got spooked. It must have slipped off but I haven't the slightest idea where." Vivikia said a bit sadly at the last.
Vivikia realized Ryan also must have mentioned the alcohol bit because her appearance might have slightly given her away, that was the price of enjoying such things and well mostly because Broderick requested it of her too. "Do I really look that terrible??? I'm so embarrassed.." Vivkia looked down at her feet.

Ryan smiled and lifted her chin up "You don't look terrible at all. I can just tell because I have been pretty far gone as well." He smiled and looked around "So do you remember any of the places that you went specifically last night?" he asked softly.

"You have???" Vivikia asked appreciating the fact she wasn't the only one who indulged before. "It's not such a terrible thing you know..having a drink" Vivikia told Ryan with a small smile, hopefully he wasn't the lecturing type. When Ryan asked if she remembered of the places she went last night Vivikia started to think from the begining "Well I had it all day with me yesterday... even before and after I finished dinner. After dinner is when I definitely lost it.. that's when I came up here. I didn't go up any other halls, just this far because I remember the scratch on the floor just before we came in. I'm sure with this type of floor that it bounced but where exactly I'm not sure... If I can find it in here then I'll have to work my way back down"
"It's really nice of you to help me and keep me company.. no one here has really been that generous"
Vivikia would take as much generousity as he would give, she loved it afterall it wasn't as if she was forcing him or anything.

Ryan smiled "I am sure we will find it very soon." He assured, and he turned to look around the room. He pulled out his wand and gave it a little flick and a small noise was heard out in the hall. Ryan turned back around and smiled "I think you might want to check back out there." he said and walked to the doorway, where he saw the ring across the hall, bouncing softly off the floor a few inches into the air.

"I'm sure if your sure" Vivikia told him sweetly. She watched carefully Ryan's wandwork, a small noise was heard outside in the hall. It was her ring! ...possibly. When Ryan turned around and smiled, Vivikia smiled as well a big smile, when he suggested she go check back in the hall excitedly Vivikia dashed out without a word into the hall. Across the hall it shined brightly as it bounced a few inches in the air, Vivikia shouted with joy and hurried to the ring catching it with both her hand lest it fall and be lost again.. Vivikia carefully placed the ring in the zipper pocket of her skirt and once the ring was safely tucked away Vivikia wasted no time dashing to Ryan and throwing herself into his arms for him to catch her. She didn't doubt for a moment that Ryan couldn't catch her, he seemed very capable of doing lots of things.

Ryan smiled and watched as Vivikia ran and grabbed her ring. He was glad that he could help. She got the ring and then ran to him, and he held his arms out and caught her and hugged her with a smile on his face. He needed something good in his life right now, and maybe this could be a little something good for him. "See, I told you that we would find it." he said with a smile.

Vivikia hugged Ryan tighter than she had held anyone in a very long time savoring it enjoying it if you would believe. Vivikia didn't pull away from Ryan but still had her arms around her, if he was taken she didn't care and surely by now he understood she didn't care. "I doubted myself but I never truly doubted you, I don't know what I would have done without you. It's a shame that I didn't meet you sooner."
"Your really smiling this time and not just to be nice...could it be that you like hugs??? I like giving them you know. I'm a professoinal" Vivikia told him happily and a bit sly.

Ryan smiled and laughed a little "Yes I do like hugs, and you are very good at giving them." he said, and looked at her "And I am not taken." he said with a smile and wink. He wondered how she would react to that. Most people were shocked at first when he could pull something out that they were thinking, and sometimes he was to, because he couldn't read minds, he was just very good at reading people and getting a feel for what they were thinking.

"I've yet to meet anyone who didn't like them" Vivikia told him with a smile. He told her she was good at giving hugs "You seem like you haven't had one in a long time, I think that needs to change" Vivikia still had her arms around him, she didn't quite want to let go of him just yet... besides it wasn't as if he wanted to be.
When Ryan announced suddenly that he wasn't taken she knew that this opportunity was meant to happen
"I'll have to admit I was a bit curious but even if you were, I must be straight forward myself by saying it wouldn't stop me" she told Ryan with her own wink and smile.
"I am absolutely starting to adore how you think" Vivikia moved her face in closer so that she and Ryan's foreheads were touching.
