Verity thought harder about anyone named Silver. She tried to think of anyone who was in her classes. "It's not ringing a bell." She said finally. "But I've been taking some odd classes." That's what happened when you spend you entire education going from school to school. Each school has a different course offering and requirement per year. In order to stay on track, Verity had to take classes with people from all years.

Willow shook her head, "It's not important. If you see him you do. If not." She grinned, "maybe I've taken him on a vacation." He wouldn't let her with all of the work he usually had to catch up on. "I'm relatively new too. Well new and old. I just came back from Beauxbaton. But I started at Hogwarts when I was a first year."

"Beauxbatons?" Verity repeated with interest. She sat up a little straighter. "I used to go there, too. Only for a little bit in my third year." Verity had a hard time placing which school Beauxbatons was. She knew where it was, but she couldn't form an image of it in her head. After a while, all the schools she's been at seemed to blend together in her mind. "I hated it there." That was the one thing she remembered vividly. It wasn't hard, though, considering most of the schools she was thrown into she hated.

A soft laugh escaped her lips, "I loved it there. My first real time away from my parents. Their library was amazing." She closed her eyes and tilted her head back "the school trips were to die for." Crazy, she thought, freeing. "But the student body is in general snobs," she said with another laugh.

Verity nodded in agreement. "The library was nice." She said remembering pieces and parts. "I don't think I went on any school trips though. I was there for a little less than a month." It's possible that she did go one one and didn't remember. She vaguely remembers going on a trip to a village with one of her schools, but she couldn't remember when it was or which school had taken her. "Ah, yes. The student body." Verity crinkled her nose. "All girls." She said in disgust.

Willow turned her head to look at Verity, "not all bad. I was there for a few years, and honestly, it was nice not having boys trailing after you." She stuck out her tongue, eyes sparkling, "course having guys to pay attention to you is nice too." She shook her head, "there are just some things girls won't do with girls." She let a slight pause annunciate the statement, "like climb astronomy towers."

"There are some things girls won't do because they're only around girls." Verity said. She remembered lots of bad hygiene. Apparently when there weren't guys around, there also weren't razors or combs. It was almost as if most of the girls lost any self-respect they had for themselves just because they didn't have to try and impress any guys. "Did you climb an astronomy tower?" Verity asked confused. The only time she had been in the Astronomy Tower was during a very odd dream involving Celyn. She wasn't even sure if Hogwarts had one.

"I wish. Silver's brother Dare and I planned to climb the astronomy tower here. I think he got sick though, I haven't seen him in a while." She'd been bummed out about that though, sometimes she just needed to relieve the stress. And man had researching that spell for suction cupping their hands been entertaining.

Oh. Dare was a person. And there was in fact an Astronomy Tower! Verity thought to herself, finally getting it. Well, she assumed this was the same Dare she mentioned earlier. If it wasn't then she was truly confused. "I've never seen the outside of the Astronomy Tower, but would it be hard to climb?" From what she gathered, most towers were straight with nothing to really grab hold of.

Willow shrugged, "maybe. I'm not sure. We spent weeks in the library studying how to create a spell. We took a spell that threaded suction cups onto our hands. To scale the walls with, spent a few more weeks trying them out in the Room of Requirement. I was so excited." Willow imagined what would have happened if they had managed to scale the walls. "Dreams get you into the future and add excitement to the present."

“Suction cups. That makes sense.” Verity said. She would have never come up with that solution, although when it came to using what you had to find a solution it usually took her a while to figure it out. She didn’t have the patience for it. “Maybe now that you’re back you guys could try it again!” Even Verity was excited about the idea of something so crazy. She hadn’t visited the Room of Requirement yet, but she heard a lot about it. It seems to have become a popular part of the building.

"Maybe. I'll have to go and find Dare. He's stayed on campus, but Silver went home for the summer." Which really was a shame. Willow's eyes glittered, "if I can get him to say yes again, do you want to come?" It technically was all about a Dare, she was supposed to help Dare with Charms, and he would help her with muggles studies to beat his brother, but in the end she still didn't know who had the better grade in Muggle Studies.

Verity’s eyes lit up and she sat up a little straighter. “Really? That would be so awesome!” She gushed. When it hit her that she was terribly afraid of heights, her face fell. “I better not.” She said with a sigh. Just thinking about climbing anything at all made her nervous. “Thanks for offering, though.” Verity closed her eyes and took in a deep breath in an attempt to get the image of scaling a tall building out of her head.

"Come on. We're witches, what's the worst that could happen?" She thought about it and then smiled, "after all the replaced the nurse, she's the old transfiguration professor, she's a sweetheart." Sometimes a bit odd, but the idea of visiting her wasn't scary at all. "Besides Dare and I practiced with harnesses and such," she fluttered her eyelashes with a mischievous smile, "he's got a husband to go home to at the end of the day."

A flicker of confusion flashed across Verity's eyes before she let out a mental Oh. She remembered reading something about the happy couple in the Daily Prophet and she suddenly remembered why the name sounded vaguely familiar. "I just don't think I should do it right now. There are some things I should erm take care of first." Verity said rubbing the back of her neck with her hand. It was a flat out lie, but she wasn't about to admit to her fear. She considered being two feet off the ground incredibly high. There was no way she could climb an entire building. The only way she could fly for Quidditch was if she took a couple potions and cast a few protective charms around her first.
