Dark Arts: Friend or Foe?

The dark arts are a great thing sure as long as they are used by the right people and the right way (e.g defence). For example somtimes dark wizards might have to be captured using dark magic, and without it the wizard would easily get away.
I can see why Dark arts are considerd bad though as they can be used by the wrong people to harm others and using dark arts to defend against dark arts is kinda silly.
But i think the dark arts are ok as long as they are used for the right reasons.

Gah, you all know my opinion on this one, I think I took up a page or two, but I still believe that they are called Dark Arts for a reason. Imperious curse is used to control someone to do something. What would make us any better the DE's if we were to use the dark arts on wizards ourselves. They may be the "right" reasons to us, but to the DE's, the reasons why they use the dark arts are "right" too.

My advice, if in doubt don't use them.

Whats wrong with dark arts, dark doesn't necessarily mean evil, although those terms are affiliated. I hate to ruin it for you, but there not even anymore ^_^
