Early this morning my sister came banging on my door
"Wake up!" She yelled...what the hell was that for?
Little did she know I was already awake
and sort of kind of craving a steak
Off to work I guess I have to go
Maybe I can get on there...I do not know
If I can't then maybe later today when I come home
I'm beginning to feel like that travelling garden gnome.
If not later today possibly at the hotel tonight
if not at the hotel i might have a fright
For then I shall be back again in two days
But for now I shall end this phrase
looks like i can get on at work as long as my father's not here ^_^

Here I am home at last
that awful internet connection is in the past
those athletes at Summer Games sure were fast
i don't know much about sailing except for the mast
there were a few cute guys but i had to pretend to yawn
for right now i have my own cute boy who mows my lawn
along with those boys it was really hot
there was a dance one night hosted in the parking lot
it is weird it has been two and a half days since my dad and i last fought
you should see the cute shoes i bought

I'm around, I really am, but the people Dare's posting with haven't been on so I've been doing non-internet things. As for this weekend, someone was using my computer to have a movie marathon while I have no tv.  Today my internet is acting up. I think the school is having maintenance done. I'll check in later, if I can! |

I may or may not be around for a while. My great-grandfather just died, according to my aunt's Facebook status. I've seen him at every family gathering for the past decade+ and I'm really going to miss him. This is the man who, when I jokingly asked him when I'd get my magic powers, said, "Oh, when you're about 22, 23, I think." He was right, lol.

I'll be back if I make it through this last stretch of family gathering and the drive home. I may need a day to recover. Seriously. For once I'm glad there are no holidays in August. We'll all need the time off. *please let there be time off*
Edit: Home again. Don't intend on leaving for a week, if I can help it. *clings to quiet apartment*

I'm going on a two-week vacation to California, but I'll try to be on, at least to let everyone know I survived the trip. Good thing I'm not driving at all, I never went to bed. Too worked up to sleep.

*sigh* I'm going home tomorrow. Well...at least that's what they think. I might very well hide in the ocean until they are gone and stay here forever.
If for some odd reason that plan doesn't work and i WILL be going home tomorrow I won't be able to reply to threads until I get home BUT ONLY IF we have power because apparently power in the area around our house has been going out randomly. Yet another reason we should stay at the beach. If I'm not on in a LONG TIME it's because I don't have power...but I will have my phone until it dies on which I can check emails ^__^

Love you Dare I was on Vacation for 2 weeks, then I started my new term for school the following week. So I was on vacation, but I'm back now (Whoops, I kinda did things backwards didn't I?). Miss me? If you're ever looking for me and I'm not around Dare usually has the 411. |
