Thank you hon. And no thank god, I think my bickering and complaining affected them more than the disease, but thanks for asking.

Wow, it's amazing you all survived. Did you use primaquine, suppressive chemoprophylaxis, or chloroquine? Or maybe sulphadoxine or mefloquine? Not that I know anything about this, personally.

well i know primaquine is for malaria and some type of pnemonia, but its horrible for pregnancy so i definately didn't get any of that stuff. chemoprophylaxis is for the prevention of spreading the illness which is what i had to take first so that it wouldn't spread to the rest of my body, mainly my womb. chloroquine i did not take because of its fatalities if over dosed and sometimes you cant trust the doctors over their Chloroquine could cause stomach ache so i coudl confuse that as something being wrong, so i didn't take any of that sulfadoxine isn't used much anymore, only for serious infections which thank god i did not have mefloquine has severe side effects as well... i can live with insomnia... but not paranoia or depression.... lest of all suicide basically other than a very very light dosage of Chemopro. I was told my infection wasn't that bad and i would get better within the week... its usually fatal to those who live in Africa... has something to do with the blood

I don't know, perhaps my knowledge on Malaria is rusty.....I thought that those regularly exposed (those in an area with high concentration of Malaria) had less complications then those that had not built up an immunity to the disease (outsiders that visit the country where the epidemic is).
I was under the impression that Chemoprophylaxis is a form of prevention, not an actual medicine? And that the safest anti malarial for chemoprophylaxis during pregnancy is Chloroquine. I hope the doctors didn't make any mistakes and that your babies (? you said them) are born without any of the common complications. I'm surprised you even went into an area with Malaria while pregnant, especially without having taken a vaccine or anti malarial drugs prior to the trip. I'm just glad everything turned out okay.

I will be here at least once a week due to graduate classes starting tomorrow! I'll be here, but just might not be on site every day. I'm in a super demanding program. Thanks!

Markise (the character, but not his writer) will be gone until the new term begins for autumn. His writer will be on to read old stuff and poke around, but he is in New York. (So is Logan Callahan, but different writer there.)
