Ryan walked out to the lake, looking up at the sky and smiled. It was a nice calm day, but he could the clouds on the horizon and knew that it was going to storm very soon. Ryan took his normal seat under the big tree by the lake. He lounged under the tree until he heard foot steps behind him. He turned to see who it is.

The weather was at it's finest. They were supposed to expect a Storm, but that was the best part. For this day she had abandoned her backpack in her dorm. Pressing forth, she slowly walked to the lake it had been so long since she visited it. Kicking a few rocks as she walked she was completely oblivious to the fact that there was someone else. All students had stayed inside today, trying to avoid the storm, but that was ridiculous! The weather was great and the storm only added to the excitement that the rain usually brought.
She wasn't paying attention to where she was going and so as she came to a tree she turned to the left going around it, only to trip on the outstretched legs of someone. She didn't fall, but stumbled forward, catching herself by grabbing onto a hanging branch. When she was sure she was coordinated she turned to look at the guy. So she wasn't the only one here.

Ryan jumped up to make sure the girl wouldn't fall. When he saw that she was fine, he smiled "Not expecting anyone else out here were you?" he asked with a little laugh. He looked the girl over, and she was quite pretty. He thought he had probably seen her a couple of times passing in the hall.

Celyn ran a hand through her hair; composing herself. It took her a moment to finally respond to the guy managing to crack a smile in the process. "I thought everyone has a phobia of the storm to be honest." [/b] no point in denying it. Besides it could have happened to anyone. Celyn looked at the guy carefully, his face was not unfamiliar. She had been in Hogwarts since year one and he was probably one of the students she would randomly pass by in the halls.[/blockquote]

Ryan laughed a little "Most people do, but I find that it is one of the most peaceful times you can find. I love to come out here right before and during a storm." He smiled and looked at her "So let me take a stab at this, I am going to guess Ravenclaw?"

She couldn't help but nod in agreement. Yes, it was always the best before and during a storm. While others found them to be irritating, she found them calming. Celyn slowly nodded while eying his robes. "And Hufflepuff." [/b] it wasn't a question, but a statement.[/blockquote]

Ryan smiled and nodded "Very good. So who is it that I have the pleasure of meeting?" he asked as soft thunder could be heard in the distance.

Her eyes scanned the horizon, the storm was moving in faster than she expected. In fact, there was a light breeze that followed the sound of thunder. "Celyn Corvus." might as well be formal. "And you are...?" she asked trying not to get distracted by the weather the sound of thunder was much louder now, but she remained unfazed.

Ryan smiled and took a couple of steps to the lake and looked out at the sky "Ryan Magby." he said calmly, hoping that she wouldn't be one of the followers of all the rumors from the Prophet.

The name was so familiar. She had heard it being uttered every once in a while by the younger students and at one point she was positive that girls were pouring over the Daily Prophet whispering. Being able to connect a face with the rumors made her mentally. "I see. Well then its nice meeting you Ryan.” [/b] she pointed her head away from the wind, so that it wasn’t stinging her eyes, it was amusing how a storm could move in so quickly.[/blockquote]

Ryan smiled "By the reaction you just gave I guess that you have heard bits and pieces of rumors about me?"

"As you said, they're just rumors. No big deal." [/color] Celyn didn't care about rumors and she frankly never payed much attention to them. The only reason she knew some of them, especially the more 'high profile' ones was because the little Ravenclaw kids just wouldn't shut up. There was the two males who tied a knot, she would only remember the names if someone said it, but she wasn't quite sure off the top of her head. Celyn had heard of the macho man Charles, or Chaz... something with a Ch was all she could recall? There was the alleged rapist, who fought with the women hunter and a whole bunch of other garbage that Celyn didn't even bother trying to remember. "Ravenclaw is filled with stalkers. I swear if I hear another word about the prophet I'm going to hex someone." Celyn had apparently showed up on it as well, but it was so pointless that Celyn even questioned the writers ability to gather information. The only reason why Celyn remembered Ryan name was because she had heard his name a few times during Quidditch matches, which she rarely attended.[/blockquote]

Ryan gave a little chuckle "I know what you mean. I work there, so I get to hear all of those rumors. I have been staying away from there mostly." He looked back at her and smiled "So how are you doing?" he asked.
((Sorry it took so long to reply, hectic past few days with my dad having heart surgery. He is out of surgery and doing fine, so I might be on here a little more, at least for the rest of this week... When he comes home I will have to do a lot of stuff around the house for him.))

That would suck; to work in a place where you are constantly ridiculed and talked about. His question made her shrug, she wasn't quite sure how to answer that "I'm fine I guess." it was really the only thing she could say. The wind was picking up and she shifted her body so that the large tree blocked it. Still, her hair danced around her this was one hell of a storm. (No problem I understand)

Ryan leaned against the tree "That is good. So are you pure blood, half, or muggle?"
