Madison had a great time over break, she'd really missed her rents, and getting to see them was awesome. She'd only wished she hadn't had to leave Quinn here alone, she'd thought about inviting her to Christmas with her and the rents, but she wasn't sure how her parents would have felt. She thought she might try again next year.
She'd gotten this awesome iPod, and one for Quinn too, but when she'd come back to Hogwarts, she'd figured out that they didn't actually work on campus. Regardless of the fact that she'd messed up on a Christmas gift, Madison had found a way to get a note to Quinn in the Gryffindor common room, and asked her to meet her here. She thought maybe she had an even better gift for her.

Quinn hadn't been expecting the note from Madison, but had smiled a bit to herself when she'd been given it. She wished that Madison had stayed over break and she'd had someone to talk to, but now maybe she could talk to Madison about Lyric and other things. Quinn waited outside of the door for a moment, thinking that she might find Madison there, but when she didn't show up, she ended up going into the Three Broomsticks. Her gaze lit up on Madison, and she headed over towards her. "Madison," she said quietly, with a large smile on her face.

Madison turned from her seat at a table when she heard her name. She broke into a big smile and stood up to give Quinn a hug. "It's great to see you. I really missed you over break. I don't have any girlfriends at home over break, my friends from the U.S. all stay at the school." Madison gestured to a seat, "I ordered you a butterbeer, hope you don't mind."

Quinn smiled a small smile, being with Madison was alot like being with Kiley. It was like a tidal wave pressure, all exerted at you, but it never hurt, it was kind of like being enfolded in warm arms. "Of course I don't mind." Quinn sat down in her seat, "alright, so I'm curious, why here, why not somewhere else?" She'd never been inside of the Three Broomsticks, with the exception of when she'd been fundraising for the concert that never happened.

Madison grinned as she took a sip of her butterbeer, "I remembered how much you wanted to do that concert for Gay Day. So I thought, what if I played a gig and took the money that I made and put it towards trying it again?" She had other intentions, things that she thought a good friend should get her other friend to do. Quinn needed something in her life besides books and that forest.

Quinn blinked, "so you brought me her to watch you play?" Not that she minded, she was curious, because Madison had talked about how much she loved to play the guitar, and how she dreamed of working for the Wizarding Radio when she graduated. But then again she'd also talked about going to play on a Quidditch team for a while. Maybe chase a few broomsticks, whatever that meant.
