Mano turned at the sound of the door opening, and his eyebrows raised in momentary shock before he returned to a neutral expression. He hadn't been prepared for Michael looking that bad, and that was after sleeping. Maybe they should have put this off until tomorrow if he was this bad. After a few moments he looked back at Eros.

"Ah, Michael, glad to see you've rejoined us," Eros said. He would far rather drag a probably-groggy Michael directly into things than give the younger man a chance to think about why he'd slept so soundly, so he went on. "We've been discussing possibilities and were deciding where to begin our search. I'm afraid that matter is still in deliberation, so any suggestions you have will be much appreciated."

Michael blinked as he looked from Mano, to Markise, then finally to Eros. He didn't know whether to be angry or relieved that they had been talking about the situation. He found himself shaking his head and answering Eros. "I don't know...we always went to the forest or the Room of requirement," he said. But Dare wouldn't run off there if there was trouble, would he?

"Hm," Eros hummed, giving that a moment's thought. "Markise suggested the Room of Requirement as well, so I propose the place as a first on our list. Sadly, not all of us have permissions to run the grounds of the school, and rather than waste time arguing any Headmistresses, Prefects, or others, Perhaps those places would best be left to those less noticed." Meaning himself and Markise.
"If there are any possibilities outside the castle, we might split up to check those as well, and send communication of anything is discovered. Does this appease you, Michael?"

Michael shrugged, still in a daze that had become the norm over the past couple of days. "That's...okay...but there's really not anywhere outside of the castle. I mean...there's the club and the Shack...that's about it." One of the reasons it was so nice to live in Diagon Alley was being able to get out of Hogsmeade and into London.

"Well, try those places," Eros suggested. "Doesn't your friend Miss Grace run the club? It should be quite a short stop, and the shack is nearby. The school will be far more time-consuming to search, but if you're determined, I suppose you could test whether or not Alumni can slip through the gates during the average day, but if that is the case, we may wish to get moving immediately. There are only so many hours before dusk, and any search will become more difficult then."

Michael nodded and finally slid his wand away. He ruffled his hands through his hair and his eyes flickered between the three people. "Let's go, then," he said as he started toward the door. The more time they wasted here the longer it would take for them to find out if Dare was hiding out or had actually left like he said he was. Michael didn't want to hope for the best, but he couldn't beat down the little ray of hope that had fought its way through.
