Gabby opened the door and stepped into her new shop. It was cosy, that was the kindest word. Very dusty and quite dark as the windows were covered in grime. ~This will need a lot of work.~ she thought. But she was looking forward to doing it and she hoped that it would soon become a popular hang out for the students.
Gabby rolled up her sleeves and set to work, using a combination of spells her mum had taught her and traditional elbow grease.

Gabby stepped back and looked around the shop and cafe. The once dark, dank and dusty space had been transformed into a light, airy and yet cosy and bright room. Pink had not been the right colour for Aroma so Gabby had updated it with having the walls as a soft, greeny turquoise colour with accents of a deep, midnight blue and a rich red. There was numerous small tables but Gabby had also set up a small table, close to the floor with plenty of cushions for students to sit at. A new blackboard on the wall displayed a menu in curly writing and she had found a pretty old fashioned till in the store room which looked right at home on top of the counter displaying the cakes and sweets available. Th shop part she had decorated in a butter cup yellow, the floor to ceiling shelves had been filled with the new merchandise and a little stand in the middle displayed some of the finer stock.

It was supposed to be just an old store front, Gwenhwyfar had walked pass it plenty of times when she had come in to town. But this time it was different, this time she noticed some kind of life and it peaked her curiosity. It looked different, it no longer was the old dirty and grimy place she remembered now it actually looked like somewhere that she could go into without worrying about insects and cobwebs and stuff. She opened the door and walked inside and who would be there but Gabby of all people. "Hey Gabby." She said happily walking up to the table looking around trying to take in how different it was.

"Gwen!" Gabby exclaimed. She was glad she now had someone to share her excitement with. "How are you?" Gabby continued, "Look, I took Aroma as mine and have just finished doing it up", Gabby swept her arm around, emphasising the new decor and feel. A thought came to Gabby. " There's just one more thing it needs." Gabby said and after a wave of the wand, nothing seemed to have changed. But on the outside a brand new sign was attached to the front, proclaiming the presence of Aroma Cafe and Gift Shop. "What do you think?" Gabby asked with a smile, anxious that Gwen would like it. Gwen was now a valued friend, even though they hadn't known each other long.

Gwenhwyfar wasn't even sure what the right thing to say was so she came out with "It's magical, all bright and happy and stuff. I think I might want to just move in and never leave." Her voice dripped excitement and pure joy. She was so happy for Gabby, this place was beautiful and she knew that everyone would love it, after all who in their right mind would not like a place this perfect, no beyond perfect it was heavenly and inspired and she was pretty sure that if she thought long enough she could come up with quite a few other words to describe it as well.

Gabby blushed with pleasure, "Thanks," she said warmly with Glen. "Now I do insist that you stay for a while, have a drink, a cake anything, the menu's on the wall." Gabby waited to see what Gwen ordered. Gabby was excited, this was her first customer, she wouldn't make Gwen pay though. "Have what you want, it's on the house." Gabby laughed, "I have always wanted to say that."

It was a hard decision everything on the menu looked wonderful but she finally decided after reading over it for the third time "The hot chocolate sounds really good." She said putting the menu down. "So how does it feel to be the owner of the cutest establishment in Hogsmeade." She asked sweetly, it was just so awesome.

Gabby went over and started preparing two hot chocolates, "Absolutey fabulous," Gabby replied, She returned to the table with two mugs of steming milk and two small dishes wth chocolate. Gabby set the tray down. "Make your own hot chocolate, you can melt in as much chocolate as you want," Gabby said with a smile, hoping that the new idea would go down well.
