Ariel was trying, and failing, to get his breathing and heart under control again after that and so his eyes were closed when Markise looked up at him. It took a few moments to trust himself to move, but when he did he sank down in front of Markise on his knees. He pulled Markise close for a kiss before he pulled back and searched out Markise's eyes. "Guess it's my turn," he said, eyes glinting.

Markise's eyes softened, though they were heated from within. The things he'd done, seeing Ariel on his knees, that kiss, everything combined to fill him with so much emotion he didn't know what to do with it. "Your turn for what?" he asked breathlessly. He knew, and his anticipation was high, but he had enough of his mind left that the game teased through.

Ariel ran his hands down to Markise's waist and tilted his head slightly at him. "I can think of a couple of things..." he replied, letting his hands roam before silently urging Markise to lay down. Ariel wasn't thinking about what he was doing right now, he was going on instinct more than any tangible thought.

Markise made no argument, but lay back, easily ignoring the hard floor in his excitement. "Are you gonna make me guess?" he asked. He hoped not. He was terrible at not jumping straight to the answer he was hoping for and skipping half the game. Especially when he was this far along. He loved this so much he could hardly think, and every nerve stretched tightly in waiting.

Ariel shook his head as he moved up to press a kiss beneath Markise's jaw. "No, but you have to wait," he said, his voice lightly teasing, before he started slow, teasing motions that brought him gradually lower to return what Markise had given him. He wanted to give back everything Markise had given, so he paid attention to every reaction he got.

Markise had just enough presence of mind to bite his lip against the sounds he wanted to make. He wasn't entirely successful, but there was no mourning a lack of silence when he felt so good. It was bliss lying there, and it took a moment for his eyes to open and his hands to catch lightly at Ariel, silently asking for more contact. He wanted to wrap his arms around Ariel and hold him until he could recover enough to talk.

Ariel moved up and rested on his side by Markise, reaching out with one hand to rearrange clothes. It felt good, really good, to see Markise like that and to know that it was because of him. He remembered faintly thinking the same thing before he had messed everything up so badly, but it meant so much more now.

Markise helped get things straightened. Despite the fact that they were lying there together, they might as well be that prepared on the off chance that the doors opened. His lips felt permanently curved as he shifted close, finally giving in and wrapping his arm around Ariel's waist, pulling him close. "That was worth waiting for," he said at last, practically purring.

Ariel gave another small quirk of the lips before he slid his hand around Markise's waist. "Glad you liked it," he said, wondering if Markise knew how much he liked getting that look. Did Markise like getting those reactions from him as much as Ariel liked getting them from Markise? It would be so nice if they didn't have to meet up like this.

Markise brought his hand up to toy with Ariel's hair, brushing through, then twisting it lightly around his fingers. "Do you like it here?" he asked after a moment. He did, but it might simply have been because he and Ariel finally got to be alone somewhere they couldn't hear students passing by, and for now, they didn't need to watch the clock. Eventually they'd have to finish up the school day, but it was mostly over, and then they could go to the shop.

"It's humid, but yeah," Ariel said. He was used to humidity during the rare thunderstorm, but he was more used to a dry heat. Still, he couldn't complain when it looked like they could stay in there just about as long as they wanted without being interrupted. He could have sworn that it would be more busy, but apparently he was wrong.

Markise could see where the humidity might bother Ariel, but it didn't bother him. "A little sweat never hurt anyone," he teased. He let his fingers wander where they would as his mind sifted though things. "Anna found me," he said absently. "That friend that sent the owls? she was real excited to see me, but I haven't seen her since."

Ariel nodded, though he wasn't sure what to say about that. He was more focused on Markise's hand than what he was actually saying. After a few moments, he was able to remind himself of what Markise had said and answer. "What'd you two talk about?" he asked, figuring he might as well at least attempt to talk.

"What we did this summer," Markise replied. His fingers paused a moment before he caught himself, then slid on. "She told me she didn't sell her shop, and I had to tell her something, she doesn't give up. She knows I had a roommate and a job, but she thinks I lived with some random friend back home." And I told her I'm not coming out.

Ariel nodded again and tried not to think that something had been given away. Markise was smart enough not to give anything away. "That's good," he said absently as his eyes moved down to his hand as he let it move as it wanted to. It found its way down to the edge of Markise's shirt to play lightly at his skin.
