Tegun sauntered into the Hogshead, this was his first chance to explore since he'd been at Hogwarts. It always seemed like there was something important to do for his classes, or for the Quidditch team. Running a hand through his short spiky hair, Tegun sat astride one of the bar chairs and placed both hands on the counter, "Butterbeer here."

Kelly had some items to buy in Hogsmeade so once she was done she was ready for a break of some sorts. Nearby was Hogshead, so she headed in that direction. Entering, she looked around the place before deciding upon a place to sit. Feeling like she only needed a refreshing beverage, she went over to sit at the bar. She picked up the drink menu and looked it over. She was one that would be very happy with hot tea normally, today though she was leaning more toward a butterbeer. So, that's precisely what she ordered.

Tegun was happily downing his second butterbeer when a petite blonde walked into the building and sat down ordering a butterbeer. Deciding he hadn't had enough adult time since he'd been here, he turned to her and lifted an eyebrow wryly, "if not for the dust covered bottles, I'd bet this is the best butterbeer to be had in England." And he'd know, he'd been to many bars and dives in his career, before he'd decided to teach. Each interesting and individual, but the Hogshead was reputed to have some of the best in the way of drinks, a bit lacking in hygiene though.

Kelly turned to the friendly stranger, a young looking man who was also drinking a butterbeer. "Best in England?" She repeated, thinking about what it would be in her opinion, "I'll have to disagree with you. There's a small pub on the outskirts of the city that makes the greatest buttereers." The bartender slid the drink over and Kelly caught it, raising it to her lips and taking a sip. "This is most definitely a close second though."

Tegun took a swig of his butterbeer, relishing the taste as it slid down his throat, the muscles of his throat extending as he savored. Running a hand through his hair Tegun looked over at the blonde again, "ah, but does it come in this delightfully musty, but authentic feeling bottle. Or do they pour it into a mug for you." It was all about the bottle for him, it made him feel just a bit more carefree, at ease.

"I'm not picky, but normally I get the mugs." Kelly generally didn't ask for anything in particular, but she noticed that the men who worked behind the counters seemed to think it more proper to give a lady the mugs rather than the bottles. She wasn't complaining though, as long as she got what she wanted she could care less about the way it was served. She took another sip, enjoying the refreshing taste.

Tegun looked down at his bottle for a minute and took another swig, what was he supposed to say to that? He'd been trying to spark a conversation, but she'd effectively ended that line of the conversation. After all he wasn't going to bring up his career. He'd be swamped with small children wanting autographs and photos with him. He shook his head to himself, no that topic was a moot point unless she brought it up.

Kelly put the drink on the table. Looking back at the guy she exclaimed, "Oh! I didn't introduce myself. I'm Kelly Watts, who are you?" Normally she always began with an introduction, apparently it slipped her mind this time. She was going to follow up saying that she taught at Hogwarts, but recognized the fact that she still had no idea who he was yet.
