TRYOUTS

This thread is to be used as an RP for the Quidditch teams, as I have a few overlapping positions on some of the teams, this will also be used to judge who will recieve those positions. If you just want to reply with one post explaining your tryouts you may. However, if someone else is Rping, don't interupt, just pm the RP to me. Have Fun!!

[Madison Foster]

Madison had seen the posted announcement on campus about Quidditch tryouts being held, and had woken up early just to make a good impression on her teacher. Being born a muggle, Madison felt like she had a lot to live up to in the Magical world, and Quidditch was one of the few things that she'd fit into immediately. So, with her flying robes on, and her hair brushed back into a ponytail she'd arrived on the pitch about an hour before tryouts began. It never hurt to practice more she thought, as she polished her Firebolt 4 down, looking over the vastness of the pitch here at Hogwarts.

If she closed her eyes, she could imagine the pitch filled with people cheering as her team worked hard and fought for every point. She could hear them screaming as she stopped a goal from going in, when they'd thought it was a a point for sure. Adrenaline surged through her at the thought of it, and she took a deep breath, smelling in the pitch this morning. She would make the team, she would make it even if it was by the tip of a save, that's what she was good at, keeping points away from the opposing team, or in this case students.

[Jewels Tyler]

The wind was starting to pick up as Jewels walked to the Quidditch pitch. She had half a mind to fly over, but realized that it would be a waste of energy seeing as she would be trying out for the team soon. For today, she had tied her hair back into a slick ponytail and had her flying robes on and ready. As she neared the pitchwith her outdated, yet still in wonderful condition, Nimbus 2002 she caught site of another girl already there. From the look of her robes, she was a Hufflepuff. That was good, seeing as that would mean she wasn't immediate compition to Jewels.
"Hey!" She said, nearing the girl. "You trying out too? And here I thought I'd be the only one clever enough to get here early!" Jewels gave the girl a friendly smile and followed up by saying, "I'm Jewels. You are?"

Madison looked up as another girl in red robes surprised to see someone else her so soon. "Madison, I actually think we're in flying class together," with Tegun, the man who was organizing the Quidditch Tryouts. Madison looked over the field, "are you trying out for the school team too? I've put in a bid for Keeper on both teams," a wicked grin crossed her face, "I rather like being the bottom line of the game."

Jewels looked at the girl a little more closely, "Oh yeah! I'm sorry, I should I have known that. Well, it's nice to meet you again then Madison." After now knowing that piece of information, Jewels looked upon Madison and of course, now fully remembered seeing her before! TOo bad those sparks of the memory always come after an embarrassing moment. Anyway, as the topic of positions came up Jewels shruged, "I'm trying out for the house team only.There's no way I'm good enough to represent the school." It was totally true, actually. Jewels was still trying to ease into the sport after the long hiatus of not doing it. "Keeper?" Jewels asked after a second, repeating what the girl had said, "I"m hoping to do that as well, that or chaser. Whichever works out better."
