Tegun knew he was running late, but flying was a class no student ever missed. Besides, fashionably late had always been his style. It had been an endless irritation to his Quidditch Coach when he'd flown with Ireland International. Looking down from his vantage point Tegun could see a huddle of students waiting on the ground looking around for their teacher, a quick glance at his wizarding watch told him it was five minutes after the hour.
With a rakish grin on his face Tegun made one of his famous dives down to the huddle of students, pulling up just short of their tight ring. It didn't surprise him that a few of the students flinched, but he was happy to find that a few of them stood tall despite his grand entrance. As his broom slowed, Tegun made a jump off of his broom, his smile staying firmly on his face. As his feet hit the ground, he started talking. “My name is Tegun Lynch,” he knew the pronunciation was odd, his name spelled T-e-g-u-n sounded like Tea-Gun. Though his name was famous in Ireland, he would let any of the students come to their own conclusions about where they'd heard of him, or who he'd played for. “I'll be your flying instructor for as long as you care to have me. I'll also be coaching the Quidditch team this term. Does anyone have any questions?”
RP: First day is simply for attendance. Please post to let me know you are here, and lessons begin next week.

Madison stared at the professor who had just landed in front of them. His name was unusual, but seeing as in the Muggle world famous actors and actresses were naming their children Apple and Zuma, it didn't shock her. What did shock her was how drop dead gorgeous the man was. He couldn't have been out of his twenties, and his name sounded familiar, almost as though she'd heard of him before, but she couldn't place where. She didn't usually develop crushes on professors, but when a guy dropped out of the sky like that, literally you had to pay attention.
"Is that a Firebolt 9?" she asked a bit awed. The big name brand broom companies, not unlike muggle car companies, apparently released a new model every year. She'd learned it from a witch whose family had been part of wizarding culture for generations. It was fascinating to see a top of the line broom, it wasn't something many people got to see, in fact she was riding just a regular Firebolt, when she'd first come to school they had been on the Firebolt 4, but her parents hadn't wanted to buy her something new until she'd proved herself worthy.

Brindle caught herself eying the professor when she heard Madison's question. Her gaze dropped, and her eyes widened. She'd never seen a broom like that except in the newspaper. It put her old Nimbus 2000 to shame. Not that it mattered. "Will we get to ride it?" she asked almost breathlessly. Jeezus, if there's anything hotter than a gorgeous guy, it's a gorgeous guy on a broom, she thought.

Jewels arrived at the class later than she had anticipated, she had made a much needed stop to the dorm to drop off a few books. Now, she arrived a little out of breath and completely emabarrased for being late. Luckily, one of the other girls was in mid-question when she arrived, so with only an aplogetic look she joined the rest of the group. Hopefully, she wouldn't now be labeled as the late girl.

Tegun grinned at the quick succession of questions from the girls. "Yes it's a Firebolt 9, and yes I'll let you ride it, if you can catch me." It was only mildly laced with flirtatious humor, the type that was ingrained into him, the other part was true. If they could catch him, then they could ride it. "I am hoping that by the end of term I will have fully stocked the school Quidditch supplies with Firebolt 8's. Not as good as 9's, but with 10's coming out in a few months, we should be able to get a good discount."

Sheridan hurried onto the field. It looked as if the first class had already begun. She scowled, how could she be late to her favorite class? She spent over an hour trying to find where the darn Quidditch Pitch was. It was her first day of classes and so far she has managed to give almost every teacher she has a reason to hate her.
Sheridan slowed as she came closer to the group. She was surprised to see not many people had signed up for the class. "Sorry I was..." She stopped abruptly when she actually looked up and happened to be standing in front of a gorgeous man. "...lost." She finished, her last word hardly more than a breath. Was this her teacher? Sheridan had seen him somewhere before, but couldn't put her finger on it.
