Back at her former school, the teacher's addition of the required astronomy book was sitting on the floor under the desk, as it had been dropped while packing and forgotten. Now, Kelly cursed at her thoughtlessness as she now had to spend her own money to purchase the book again. She had been directed toward this shop and so she entered with high hopes that the book would be in. It would seem uncommon for a teacher's addition of a school textbook to be in a book store, but it was worth a try to look. If not, she would owl the company and get the book late.
Entering the store, Kelly wandered around looking for the book. Along the way she passed a roller coaster book. She picked it up and opened it, smiling at the moving pictures of people on some of the scariest rides. Had it only been a year ago that she and her son had taken their roller coaster tour through Europe? With a sad smile, she placed the book back onto the shelf. She would see her son soon enough again. That was the pain about muggle boarding school, the breaks were at different times of the year. Well, once he turned eleven in a few years he'd be here at Hogwarts, hopefully.
Passing by a few more shelves, Kelly kept her eyes out for anything that might be useful. If only there was a special professor section...Well, maybe there was and she wasn't noticing it.
