A drink and a drawing

Vannah laughed and held her smile. "It's not that bad. I can't deny the times when it feels like hell, but horriffic is a bit of a stretch." She said leaning back in her chair. "Drawing would be a pain for me. Sitting there staring at piece of paper for hours trying to come up with somethng ggod to draw. I don't think I have enough patience for it."

Pandora had never looked a drawing like that "See for me drawing doesn't take that much patience, I just set done and the drawing kind of appears." It was just the way that they were, "Its relaxing, but I guess we're just really different." Not that being different was at all a bad thing.

"Yeah." Vannah agreed. She seemed to fit better with people who weren't like her. For the most part, that was a good thing. "It seems odd, but I get relaxed when I'm more tense. In crowded places, when I'm running. It's just more comfortable for me. There always has to be something going on." She said, surprised to hear it coming from her. That wasn't usually something she admitted to herself let alone others.

Pandora could understand that, she liked crowds sometimes but sometimes it was sweet solitude and quiet that she truly loved sometimes. "That doesn't seem odd, its just to each her own. Everyone's different its what makes life fun."

"Yeah. It is. I'd hate it if everyone was exactly the same. I'd go insane." Vannah said. Sometimes it felt like everyone was the same, though. Especially when it comes to the guys, but now looking back she realized that they were all completely different.

"I think everyone's the same in someways its what makes us if not humane then somewhat human. But I think our differences are the colors of life, just like our similarities are the outline of it all." Pandora always had a tendency to look at life a bit differently then others, it allowed her to see the world as both what it should be and what it was.

It took a while for Vannah to follow that, but she eventually did. "Yeah. That's a good way to put it." Vannah said thinking about what Pandora had just said. "Or at least we all choose the same actions but go about it differently." She offered. She usually didn't say stuff like this, but it just kept comnig to her.

Pandora smiled she was getting to really like Vannah it was just like they clicked and besides she was one of the only people so far that Pandora didn't feel the need to translate everything for. "Yeah exactly, just look at our house most everyone has the same background and has done the same things we just all find our individuality from it."

Vannah sat up. She was really getting into the conversation. "Yeah, exactly! A lot of them don't even want to be in Slytherin, but they fit perfectly." She said. "Instead of accepting what they are, they try to avoid it or express how much they hate it. And at the same time, they don't realize how much alike they are to the rest of us."

Pandora smiled finally someone got it "It seems that so many of them are just floaters, they go with the flow complain but they don't do anything. I mean sure I might disagree with something every once in a while but its our people and posing as something else doesn't change the fact we are all born and breed to be what we are and we're all proud of it. Even those who profess their hatred." She hated people who obeyed everything they were told like puppets but she just wanted to beat anyone who was faking or trying to be something they weren't.

"I hate it when the Slytherins walk around all proud like they shouldn't be there. They put on some goody two-shoes costume and convince themselves that that's what they really are. But they're off running in the off-limits zones, partying after curfew, sneaking out, playing tricks on people as well." Vannah exclaimed with a hint of disgust in her voice. "Then there are the ones who are in other houses but think they should be in ours. They try to act all bad-ass and show us that they too can be like us but they don't know anything about us. We don't just wake up every morning thinking of the best ways to torture people....well, most of the time." Vannah said jokingly and smiling.

Pandora almost laughed thinking about it "Yeah I only do that every now and then. And I really don't think i could be a goody as them if I tried everyone's so fake. And as for the wannabees tell them to have a brother disowned and live in the real world and know everything we know and go through what we been through. And if they still love our world then maybe just maybe they can be a part of it." They wouldn't pay the price because they wouldn't understand that its worth it. She hated it when people were like your a pureblood so your life must be perfect, it made her want to curse them to hell and back. "though sometimes it is all fun and games, and I do think we do throw the best parties."

"We're Slytherins because we've lived as Slytherins have. We use the harshness of our past and our future to our benefit. We've experienced things they'll never even dream of." Vannah contemplated. "They go to bed each night thinking about how hard their day was, we go to bed thinking how hard our life has been. And then we get over ourselves and say 'Bring it on!'" Vannah smiled trying to get away from depressing thoughts.

Pandora smiled glad to know that someone actually truly got it. "I'm pretty sure we're the definition of what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Sure it was depressing but it was life and it was a part of who she was sure she might break down sometimes but she alway recovered and she wouldn't trade her life for anything.

"Yeah." Vannah said realizing that was the perfect way to describe it. "So..." Vannah said looking around. The place was starting to clear out, you could actually see across the room. "Play any quidditch?"
