The atmosphere was nice as Pandora walked through the front door and headed to the first available table. There were four chairs and she grabbed on that had its back to the wall resting her legs on the one opposite. This way she could watch everyone and pretty much see anything, that was if she wanted to. She grabbed out her sketch pad from her bag and smiled as she turned to the page she was working on. It was a picture of Eros covered with other symbols and designs, the twin fish, hearts, arrows, roses, flowing colors that were just there because she felt like it.

Vannah walked into the Three Broomsticks and looked around. It wasn't as crowded as last time, but there were still a few people there. She walked over to the counter where they had been sitting. She had dropped the amulet-necklace that her father had given to her for her fifteenth birthday. After finding out that nothing of the sort had been noticed by the barista, Vannah turned around gloomily. She was about to walk back to the exit when she accidentally hit a foot of a table with her foot. "Ow!" She cursed under breath. She looked up to see a Slytherin drawing. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to..." She said apologizing.

Pandora looked up her eyes icy for a quick second, she didn't like people bugging her when she was drawing. Looking at the other girl she recognized her own house and a slow smile crossed her lips, "It's fine, care to join me." Pandora was feeling bereft of company and figured getting to know some more of her house mates wouldn't be a bad thing. "Pandora D'Winter and you are?" She didn't feel like going through the entire conversation not knowing who she was speaking too. And besides being in Slytherin if she had never met the girl she probably would have at least met someone in her family or heard about them.

The pain shot down pretty quickly. She returned the smile, breifly. "Vannah Brooks." Vannah answered pulling a chair around. She looked at the girl for a moment. She hadn't recognized her before, but then again she didn't really focus on memorizing who everybody was. "Come here often?" She asked looking around.

Pandora shook her head "no I'm kinda new but this does have a good environment." she thought for a few moments and then it hit her "Vannah as in Ryan's Vannah." She asked, the other girl was pretty on wonder he liked her. She closed her sketch book and placed it down on the table.

Vannah's eyes shot back. "Uh....yeah." She said. She had never really thought of herself as Ryan's Vannah, but it had a nice ring to it. "How did you know?" She asked slowly, narrowing eyes a little.

Pandora shrugged not knowing exactly how much to say "Oh he mentioned you when we were talking one time." Pandora said nonchalantly looking at the other girl, she knew that she might not know that much about Vannah but she wanted to find out more.

"Er...okay." Vannah said softening her expression. She wasn't much for possessive types that freak out about the smallest things. "So...what were you drawing?" She asked looking at the closed sketchbook.

"Just stuff" Pandora said leaning against the table. "You can see if you want," She opened it up to the page she was working on and slid it across the table. "its not done yet." Like that wasn't the most obvious thing in the world.

Vannah looked at the drawing. "That's really good." She said even though it wasn't completed. "I can't even draw a straight line.....or a circular circle for that matter." She said smiling. Vannah slid the book over to her. "How long have you been drawing?"

Pandora thought for a while she didn't know a date or a year it was just something she had always done. "I really don't know, it's been since before I can remember." She thought it was funny that Vannah couldn't draw at all, they seemed to be polar opposites in some ways and yet Ryan liked them both for some reason. The problem was Pandora was also starting to like Vannah and she wasn't sure if she wanted to be liking the girlfriend of the guy she liked. "So what do you do."

Vannah shrugged. "Not really much of anything. Sometimes I fly around, but mostly I just take it easy." More than anything, Vannah had been just wandering around trying to think lately. "Usually in the mornings I do some running or something." Vannah was more athletic than artistic or creative.

Pandora looked at Vannah for a moment, she would never run just for the fun of it that would just be so not her. "Yeah running so not my thing, though I do fly though its just for fun." she had never done anything over competitive while flying.

Vannah nodded. "It is fun." She agreed. "My family lives on the edge of a muggle town so it was hard for me to get some flying in. When I couldn't fly, I'd run. Sometimes for hours at a time." She said thinking back to the early mornings and late nights when she'd disappeared to go running. The way her parents got worried, how she woke up sore and stiff, the way she.....Vannah pulled herself out of her thoughts before she got too deep into them.

Pandora smiled at Vannah her eyes looking down "I think that would kill me if I ran for that long, it would just be tragic. Totally and completely horrific even." So maybe Pandora was a bit on the dramatic side but it made her life so much more interesting then if she didn't. "Plus the only thing good about running at all is the scenery, or at least in my opinion but I figure if I'm going to be looking at scenery I think I would have more fun flying."
