Nastasia sat quietly in her seat at the Slytherin table she violently stabbed at various bits of her food that she found totally inedible and observed the sights and sounds going on around her, such petty conversations and sickly sweet happy smiles, no wonder Nastasia's appetite was gone. Nastasia had made it back in time for classes to start, she wasn't expecting much to be different here even though she was older now than when she had first began attending school here five years ago.Two years ago her father's schedule changed which called for her family to be away for a while and Nastasia followed suit. She was more well rounded now and cultured which was very beneficial for a girl her age, even though she still knew more than most her age. The whole sorting was a waste of time, even after all these years that stupid hat still knew where to place her and just like before the hat barley had to touch just the top of her before it screamed out Slytherin. Nastasia placed an elbow and arm on the table, with her hand tucked under her chin she pondered what she could do to pass some time this evening.

Chase stalked through the doors of the Great Hall, his eyes doing a slow sweep of the students heading toward their tables and those already seated. His eyes caught on a Gryffindor stuffing contraband deep into his book bag, and kept his gaze solid until the boy noticed. One warning glare and Chase turned away, heading toward the Slytherin table.
He didn't notice the new girl sitting nearby. When he was eating, he tended to keep blinders on. He was on duty enough of the time that he deserved enough time to eat in peace. His goblet filled with pumpkin juice, and he reached for a platter of meats, tossing his head lightly as he pulled back.

Nastasia's ponderings were interrupted as someone took the nearby empty seat noticed out of the corner of her eye vaguely and briefly. She had settled upon an after curfew sneak out start things off, afterall she knew that she could get away with it she had alll those years ago as a little first year.
Nastasia returned back to observing the view that was in front of her, No matter how bad it was it would just have do. Leaving dinner this early would be pointless maybe one of those ditzy girls she met earlier would come bugging her to past the time. Being bothered did sometimes hold a good purpose.

There were no distractions or interruptions, so Chase did as he always did. He ate steadily, keeping his eyes to his food rather than making eye contact with anyone who might suddenly need the Head Boy's attention. And he brooded. He hadn't seen Dru in a while now, though there was no pretending he didn't know about the so-called ceremony, nor that she was going. He hadn't seen Carolynn in a while either, though he was beginning to debate paying her a visit. The only reason he hadn't was that he hadn't seen Dru. If he went to Carolynn like this, it would be far too easy for her to pull him in and make him forget why he was keeping to himself.

Nastasia's mind began to wander again, she had forgotten about a certain person who used to attend Hogwarts. He cling to her every move, he had a thing for her bad everyone knew even she did, but being a child as she was then she didn't quite see in benefit in playing along besides he wasn't that attractive. Now she was older and wiser, It would be no time before her father would reach out to his connections for another courtship for her. She saw to it that she got rid of her former fiance, after over hearing a conversation not meant for her to hear and she made sure that the last expression he had on his face for the last time of his life was fear. Nastasia smirked with satisfaction at the memory. If indeed Albert was still the same old Albert her chances of getting a successful match could happen. Albert was reliable, safe and if he still adored her the way he had back in her early years at Hogwarts her life was planned and settled. Nastasia looked around more Albert could definitely keep her informed of the goings on around here, he was good at that kind of thing. Although his chance of standing up to the head boy who was sitting nearby were out of the question, yes sadly Albert was not a good fighter that was what she was good at. Albert would really prefer it that way that she wear the pants in the relationship. It was really starting to get to her some many people being around her right now, it was really true Nastasia despised notion of friends and company in general. Sure lots of people say they don't like being around crowds of people...

Albert shuffled around the Great Hall, at stack of books he carried insecurely with both hands obscured his view a bit not to mention his glasses were a bit askew that really didn't help any and it also looked like he could lose every single one of his books any minute as they were so thick and heavy. He always brought books with him to the Great Hall when it was time for any meal, he wasn't very sociable with anyone and he didn't need to be. These books weren't just any old books, they were full of dark magic and other topics about certain potions and not the good type of potions either. He finally made his way to the Slytherin table. He tried his best in his current condition to find a few empty seats.

Nastasia spotted a big pile of books making it's way to the Slytherin table, it was Albert. She was sure of it no one in this entire house carried that many books with them to dinner. "Albert! come sit over here" Nastasia called out, it would be a perfect waste of time to go over to him besides Albert was always use to coming to her. Since she was back nothing would change, she couldn't wait to see the look on his face. Albert had dropped all his books now and was scrambling to pick them back up, it was something that always had happened so Nastasia just watched like she always did.

Albert dropped all his books at the sound of a voice, Was it really Nastasia after all this time? Like clock work Albert scrambled to retrieve his books and quickly made his way to the other side of the table . Albert took notice that the head boy Chase Firebrand was sitting nearby and grimaced, everyone knew how Chase went through so many girls at the school. Albert just knew he had to keep Nastasia out of Chase's reach, Albert didn't have to worry about Nastasia she too had most likely had continued taking the Daily Prophet even after she went away so she knew Chase for what he was. Albert turned his attention back to Nastasia, she was beautiful just as Albert knew she would be when he tried to imagine their future together when he was a child.
"Your back...." Albert said with a smile, it was all Albert could say. He never knew this day would come so soon, the day Nastasia would be back again forever.

"Well yes of course I'm back, is that all you have to say to me after all this time?" Nastasia asked a little amused and with a bit of warning on her face to make Albert make the right choice of asking more.
"You seem to have forgotten a book on your way over here" Nastasia told Albert pointing in the direction of the head boy. " I'll get it because I know you can't possibly face what your up against"
It was true Albert would never be able to find his way out of trouble and Nastasia knew some that Albert took to reading the same books as she did. The ones that were mostly forbidden.
Nastasia made her way to the other side of the table to seat nearest were the head boy was sitting and carefully made her way under the table to retrieve the book. To her suprise the book had a title that read " The Chronicles of Hicks the Hungarian Horntail". So Albert was still good at charming forbidden books to look like easy, cute books. Nastasia reached for the book with ease. She proceeded to crawl back out from under the table and within minutes was making her way back to her seat.
What a statue that headboy was, he didn't even breathe or move a muscle the entire time. He just was well should have been declared dead. How easy it was going to be getting around him if he was always going to be this way. Nastasia smirked as she made it back to her seat "How about later you let me read a chapter or two out of The Chronicles of Hicks the Hungarian Horntail...it looks like a delightful read" Nastasia told Albert still smirking as she passed him a tray of meats from her other side.

"Oh no no, that's not all I have to say to you. I want to hear much more but I didn't want to over whelm you since this is your first night back." Albert explained nervously he didn't want to make Nastasia angry.
Albert with slight fear took notice of the direction Nastasia pointed in and the forgotten book neglected on the floor. He sighed with relief as Nastasia opted to retrieve the book for him "Thank you Nastasia" he told her with a slight smile as she made her way to retrieve the book. Albert was careful not to make eye contact with the headboy as he unmovingly just sat there. Nastasia expertly manuevered her way out from under the table and was now back at her seat "Yes Of course I will let you read a few chapters later, I just got it today first time ever. I'm looking just as forward to reading it actually..." Albert told Nastasia with that same goofy slight smile. How she could make him melt with her smirk. "I'm glad your here to look it over with me.."

Nastasia dodged a flying ball of mash potatoes and took cover under the table, any other time she would have given the culprit exactly what they deserved because it did come from the Gryffindor table. With the headboy sitting nearby though it would not have been a wise decision so Nastasia was forced to retreat. She waited for Albert to follow suit until they could make their escape unscathed.
