Gabby turned her face towards Ryan, getting her tears under control. Gabby didn't move though, she was afraid to meet Brooke's gaze and Gabby was shocked at what she had just done. gabby focused on Ryan, his delicious scent and her reassuring heartbeat, it all helped to calm Gabby down.

Brooke walked over to Gabby and smiled proudly down at her "So you really are worth it." She was beginning to wonder if the girl had any backbone at all. She was so happy that she forgot to even throw Ryan a evil glare when she turned to look at him "I'll accept you for now, but if you ever do anything to hurt her I will hunt you down." It seemed like until that day he was going to be an unavoidable part of her life.

Gabby turned to look at Brooke, staying close to Ryan. "If he hurts me again," Gabby started, glancing at him briefly before returning her gaze to Brooke, "I'll be the first one after him." Gabby finished, not seeing how Ryan reacted to this declaration. gabby's determined gaze softened and her voice dropped a little. "Now please Brooke, go. I need to do this alone, but I know I can't so I need Ryan." Gabby waited a little bit before turning away from Brooke and resting her head on Ryan's shoulder, waiting to hear Brooke's fading footsteps. Gabby saw her wand lying on the ground and picked it up, stowing it in her pocket, glad that she hadn't had to use it.

Ryan decided not to say anything about hurting gabby. He put his arms around her and ran his hand through her hair.

Gabby leaned into Ryan and closed her eyes, almost forgetting why they were there in the first place, but before they continued, Gabby wanted Brooke to leave as next time Gabby really might use her wand.

Brooke looked at the two of them and rolled her eyes "So are you going to stand around looking like lovesick monkeys or are you going to figure out what happened." They were getting distracted and very off point and someone needed to bring them back to earth. And if they wouldn't come back then she was going to have to leave to find things out on her own.

Gabby turned to look at Brooke, her patience wearing thin. "Brooke, I know you want to help, but could you please just leave, I can't deal with you two fighting, it's hard enough as it is." Gabby sent a fleeting pleading look to Brooke, waiting to see what she did.

Brooke spun around and left, it looked like she was going to have to find her answers on her own. But at least now she had a place to start. Whoever had done this was going to pay for it of that she was sure.

Gabby watched Brooke leave and felt herself relax. Gabby had not realised she was so tense and she sighed, closing her eyes she leaned against Ryan. Not breaking the silence that had fallen over them since Brooke left for a few moments. "I guess we better carry on," Gabby said, almost reluctantly as it was now so quiet and peaceful.

Gabby smiled at Ryan. "I know, but I feel like I have to." Gabby softly kissed Ryan on the lips. "Thanks though" She said after reluctantly pulling away. She stood up. "So I was here, someone came and..." Gabby trailed off, frowning slightly as she tried to remember what had happened.

Gabby smiled at Ryan and squeezed his hand, reassuring both of them. She gazed around and sighed. She shut her eyes and it all came flooding back. She gasped and suddenly collapsed. Sitting on the ground she closed her eyes. The memory came washing over her. Cutting off her senses and disorientating her. Tears seeped out from under her eye lids and she was breathing heavily, trying to calm down.
