A Trip Down Memory Lane (Open)

Ryan waited, ready to follow Gabby where ever she went.

Brooke paused for a moment and then caught up with Gabby "so have you been back to room yet." She asked totally ignoring the boy still. After all he didn't really seem all that bright or worth either or their time, after all he couldn't seem to keep Gabby out of trouble for an entire week.

Gabby looked at Brooke, "Why are you ignoring Ryan?" She asked, ignoring Brooke's own question. Turning her gaze back to Ryan, Gabby said, "Come on, it's this way." Gabby led Ryan through the forest, weaving her way along the familiar, hidden path. After a few minutes of silence and walking, they emerged in a small clearing. It was familiar to Gabby as she had come here often. Letting go of Ryan's hand, she went and settled by her favourite tree that was next to the stream. Trailing her fingers in the water, Gabby said, "I was probably here, I come here a lot."

((Sorry, dinner now, ill be back in about half an hour, have an argument if you want lol))

Ryan looked around the place, having been here a few times before "Well alot of people come here, I have seen quite a few people here."

Brooke smiled her lips together and her eyes icy as they shot at Ryan, "Oh why on earth would I ignore the boy that loves you and yet has not been able to keep you out of a hospital bed." Her voice was sweet but with a bit of an edge on it along with her superior tone that was fighting to come to the front. She looked at the lake and then at Ryan "Give the boy a gold star, he seems to be catching on quite nicely." the place was pretty of course a lot of people came here.

Gabby just sighed, leaned her head back against the tree, and closing her eyes, tried to block out Brooke and Ryan. An image came to her, she was sitting like this, with an old leather-bound album before her, turning the pages. She opened her eyes and stood up. "I was here," She said, pacing around, trying to remember more, her mind clearing. "I was looking at the old pictures of my grandmother, it was about midday but." She stopped, a frown on her face. "the album's not here. what happened?" a bit more of the puzzle floated into her mind "I sent it back with a spell, I didn't want anything to happen to it, but what would have made me do that?" Gabby paced, ignoring the others, trying to make sense of everything. She leaned back against her favourite tree, her eyes shut.

Ryan watched gabby, trying not to start yelling at the girl next to him. He listened to her and thought "You probably sent it away to keep someone from getting to it."

Ok so Brooke was now entirely sure that the boy couldn't help but state the obvious at every opportunity. She rolled her eyes and "Wow, she really knows how to pick them." she said under her breath walking over to the stream before dipping her fingers.

Gabby accepted Ryan's words with a nod. "But who," Gabby bit her lip, she was so frustrated that she couldn't remember. Gabby moved towards Ryan, hugging him laying her head on his chest, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat calming her. "I don't know Ryan," Gabby whispered, her voice wavering slightly.

Ryan hugged her "I believe its storm. If Vannah would have done it herself she would have let you die, and the only person I can really see her covering up for would be storm." he said and then turned to face the other girl "I know more about the people in this school than you ever will and I am not just a moron like you obviously believe I am. I stated the obvious because we are dealing with a loss of memory here, you have to go through the obvious steps first the make it work."

Gabby left Ryan's arms and continued to pace around, trying to remember. She completely ignored the bickering going on between Ryan and Brooke as she didn't want to lose focus. "So I was looking at the photos of my grandmother, then I sent it away because someone came. Was it Storm?" Gabby was partialy talking to herself and she bit her lip, going through everything painstakingly slow to try and remember. not wanting to get involved with Brooke and Ryan's dispute, she went and sat by the stream, her fingers trailing in the water while Gabby zoned out trying to capture her memory.

Brooke rolled her eyes "So can I just kill her already." her tone conveyed perfect boredom as she stared at Ryan her eyes burning. "Where did you find this one anyway?" She asked Gabby her eyes still locked on Ryan. If it wasn't for Gabby she would probably be contemplating a creative disappearance for Ryan, he was really getting on her nerves. He reminded her of the type of people she had to deal with all the time back home.

Ryan just shook his head and turned around and watched Gabby trying to think of how he could help.

Gabby was getting sick of Brooke's 'help', and something inside Gabby snapped. She twisted round, her wand aimed at Brooke, "Shut up, you're not helping and stop insulting Ryan. He means more to me than anyone." gabby's eyes were blazing and she was shocked at her own behaviour. Gabby dropped her wand and drawing up her knees, buried her head in her arms. Gabby's shoulders shook a little as she tried to control her sobs.

Ryan quickly went over to gabby and sat next to her and put his arm around her.
