As much as Markise wanted to run off with Robbie, he wasn't about to. He'd spent too much time figuring out what he was going to do with Anna to just abandon her. He didn't need to hear or even guess at her thoughts to completely throw out the idea.
Markise shook his head and one of his hands released one of Robbie's to reach out to Annabelle. "We'll dance one together," he said, a flicker of his eyes including all three of them. "Then I get one with Robbie." One. Not nearly enough, but he didn't want to risk losing track of time, something that was so easy. Markise didn't say so now, but he was hoping that he could get Anna comfortable enough with Robbie that he could take off for a couple songs while they danced or talked.

Anna tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, looking between the two boys to try and see if she was really wanted. She could have swore that Markise had been giving her a look as if he was helpless, hoping that she'd be okay. But now he was insisting that she stay, for one more song. She felt like it would just be putting off the inevitable for a few minutes, but dancing another song seemed like a much better idea than sitting alone so she would take what she could get. "If you're sure..." She stated the phrase in a question, drawing out the last word as she looked up at Robbie, thinking that he'd much rather have Markise to himself.

Markise hadn't meant to push Anna away, he'd only been silently asking for her to be patient with him. Robbie was highly distracting, especially now that Markise had let go of one of his hands. He arched slightly away from a purposeful touch beneath the bottom edge of his vest that sent shivers through him, then gave a sharp look up. "I'm sure," he said.
Robbie nodded, and soon they'd taken up the most natural position, all things considered. Markise had danced like this before, up close behind a girl in a crowded club with a male friend facing her. It was more comfortable for him, and it made it easier to pretend. Robbie was fine with the setup. He pressed as close to Anna as he could get away with.

Anna couldn't believe what she was doing, or even how she'd somehow ended up in the middle. Trapped between the two guys, she hardly had a choice other than to move to the beat. Her face was red, not from the dancing so much as from the situation. Unable to look up at Robbie, she mostly looked directly in front of her at the outline of his chest as his Tee tightened with his movement.
They were all very close, brushing up against each other regularly as they moved. She took comfort knowing that it was Markise behind her, someone she knew she could trust to behave. She wasn't nearly as sure about Robbie, but since his hands were bypassing her at the moment, she wouldn't dwell on exactly where they were.

Markise didn't forget Anna, not really. She was right there in front of him, creating distance that was more of a tease than anything. Especially considering Robbie's hands. They mostly rode his hips or his waist, but now and then they slid down and back or teased at the edge of his vest again. Markise wanted to press closer, but there was Anna between them, and he didn't want to push farther than he already was by even having suggested this.

As the song wore on Anna enjoyed herself as much as possible. She continued to dance and wave her arms like Markise had shown her. After a bit, she felt like the space between them was getting smaller and smaller. She didn't know if Robbie was really moving closer inch by inch or if her imagination was getting to her. Whichever it was, when Anna looked up at Robbie, his expression as he looked over her head was enough to make her press backwards a little more. It wasn't that Robbie was untrustworthy or scared her necessarily, but he was unknown. She much preferred to press against the more familiar form of Markise.

Anna was stopped against Markise, and in a moment of surprise, he pulled a quick breath. Robbie shifted forward further, taking back the space that Anna had just created, and his hands both slipped against Markise's waist before one lifted and settled on Anna's instead. Robbie was enjoying himself immensely, having his cake and eating it too, and Markise was enjoying it more than he'd expected. He'd thought it would just be a group dance, but Anna's presence had only muted things, not blocked them. The anticipation of his lone dance with Robbie had his blood running hot.

Anna jumped at the fingers curled above her hip, taking a sharp breath. She instantly knew they didn't belong to Markise but her head still snapped down for visual confirmation. Seeing that the hand did belong to Robbie, she looked up at the man before her. Her eyes were as round as saucers and her mouth was gaping open nearly as wide with surprise.
Instead of a smirk like she expected, Anna was met with a mild look of innocence. She wasn't sure if she believed it entirely, but she gave him the benefit of doubt. She had been the one to move away and could only assume that it was the cause of the sudden direct contact. As long as his hand stayed in place she would try and ignore the heated pressure and his body that was even closer than before, as impossible a task as that seemed. As she looked away again, this time out into the crowd, she finally remembered to breath.

Robbie's lips only curved after Anna had looked away. Then his eyes sought those of his Angel, unsurprised to find the pale blue glittering with warning. Markise wouldn't have noticed at all if it hadn't been for Anna's reaction. A flickering thought suggested that he ignore it and hope that Anna grew comfortable with Robbie that much faster because of it, but that thought didn't last long. He couldn't imagine Robbie would stop there, and he hadn't brought Anna for Robbie. Robbie was great to dance with and great to party with, but neither Robbie nor Anna needed the temptation. Markise's hand slipped lightly against Robbie's, then lifted it and brought it back, settling it low enough to appease the man, even if it only made him want their solo dance all the more.

Although Anna was relieved when the pressure at her waist vanished, she felt an odd sense of loss. She hadn't wanted it there by any stretch of the imagination, but couldn't explain the small part of her that almost missed the warm touch. She tucked the feeling away for later and set to enjoy what little amount of the song must be left. When the music started to subtly change, she looked back up at Robbie, wondering just how they would discard of her from between them.

Robbie made no move to dismiss Anna. He was perfectly happy dancing with both of them, but he wanted a turn with his Angel now. He slid around until he was behind Markise, who took a slow breath at the sudden nearness. Markise gestured for Anna to turn around, hoping to extend this. The longer they danced together, the longer he'd get to be with Robbie.

Anna turned around willingly, but found it was completely different being on the outside. Instead of just going with the flow, she could set how close or far away she got from Markise. While she would have felt more comfortable creating some space between them, Anna more or less mimicked how the arrangement had been before the switch. She found the beat again and smiled at Markise.
Anna found it hard to look at him without automatically seeing Robbie pressed against him. Tonight was the first time actually seeing Markise with guys and she was still struggling with the huge difference between knowing he was gay and seeing him enjoy the company. She was still fine with it, but it wasn't something she normally saw and was just so hard not to look at Robbie's hands on him.

Robbie had only settled his hands on Markise's hips for now, taking a metaphorical step backward now that Annabelle was watching. Markise could handle that, so he raised his arms and danced, unaware of the slight changes in the way his body moved with Robbie's so close. He didn't let himself close his eyes, knowing he'd forget and take things too far if he did.
Robbie felt a difference as well. The motions of the slender body in front of him weren't nearly as exaggerated as they normally were. He shifted forward to press lightly against Markise's back and his hands firmed in an attempt to encourage the blatantly sexual motions that he normally got while dancing. Markise resisted, but it was difficult.

Markise had always toned it down for Anna so she didn't think anything was out of the norm and missed the subtle battle going on between the pair. She was however slightly distracted by the couple behind them. The nearest person kept brushing their rear against her, and after several times, she wasn't so sure it was accidental. She shied away from the contact, inching closer to Markise.
She was getting a exhausted again from all the dancing and lowered her hands from their position above her head. She had noticed the different style of Robbie's dancing, and how his hands hadn't waved in the air at all. For the first time that night, she thought about Chase. Anna wondered if she would be bold enough to put her hands on him if he were her partner, she had no doubt that his would have been all over her if he was given the opportunity. She pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind, not wanting to ruin the evening by dwelling on him, and turned her attetion back to dancing.

Eventually the song ended, and for Markise it was a relief. The tension had been building uncomfortably high, and though Robbie hadn't done anything, they'd both known that he wanted to. Contrary to whatever Anna might have been expecting, Markise didn't point her to the nearest bar and turn back to Robbie. Even if he'd known where the bar was, he wouldn't have. Anna was going to be taken care of.
"Where are the guys?" he asked, and Robbie crooked his thumb in the general direction of the tables. Markise turned back toward Anna. "We're going to visit the guys first." She was going to have fun, dammit, even if he wasn't with her.
